What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Adds a day and night cycle on surface, possible even an in-between. Like afternoon, etc. It would cycle every 30 minutes. For example, it would go from.

Morning,
Afternoon,
Evening,

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?

-Creates more immersion
-Creates a more realistic environment rather than it just always being night.
-Makes things more visible on surface during certain parts of the day.

I think it should be accepted, it makes the game look better and more realistic overall. The surface being constantly dark is unrealistic and adding a cycle could really add lots to the server. I'd say that it's a nice small touch that people would like.
