What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
It would change DEA to have either a specific job for only 2 snipers as special agents with the requirement of having a marksman license (like every other marksman job) or it would remove snipers and leave them to NU-7.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
It would balance raiding as CI and make raids more dangerous and less boring as a whole for the Foundation. It would also make NU-7 more important as DEA is currently way stronger than an MTF unit which makes legitimately no sense.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
DEA will will not be able to perform as many feats of combat with the pure aggression and combative strength that they currently have against GOIs and will be a bit less efficient in firefights.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
It should be accepted because NU-7 has no real purpose anymore other than to sit and watch gate. They are far weaker than DEA and as an MTF unit that makes no sense. Additionally, DEA is supposed to be surface operations not the most aggressive front liners ever. The DEA is supposed to be tactical in spreading misinformation and dealing with info breaches as well as some field threats from different GOIs or sometimes anomalies. When DEA outclasses an MTF unit completely by having 8 snipers that one shot people or heavily damage SCPs it makes NU-7 the most useless group around.
