For how long have you played on CN SCP: I have played on SCP-RP for about 3 months. Unsure of total game time but have the one week achievement.
Character name(s): Demeter / Jad Velstrom
Civilian name: Jerome Goode
What server are you applying for: SCPRP USA
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: CI Gamma with Medical, Drivers and Sniper license. Foundation RRT License and Medical License as well as an 096 WL.
What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition: I think I'm a mature person who thinks decisions through carefully and always respects their peers, I follow orders from officers well. I believe I have a great game knowledge and have become very familiar with most tools on the server, especially the TE-5 E.T.D.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?: I want to join the GOC as it's new, exciting and incredibly interesting. I would like to help build it into a great faction by contributing anything I can towards it.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?: The GOC was founded after the second world war, absorbing its former group known as the allied occult initiative. It was formed by 108 different organisations due to the concern over the foundation or any one single country or group having control over the anomolous.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
The PHYSICS division operates similarly to foundations MTF. They observe, investigate, capture and/or neutralise anomalies.
The PSYCHE division operates as a diplomatic branch, and attempts to keep peace with other groups. This may include discussions or negotiations with the foundation or CI.
The PTOLEMY division is a supporting branch that operates in a variety of ways. These include medical personnel and research teams that develop weapons for the GOC.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
The Global Occult Coalition's main goal is similar to the foundations. It is to protect humanity from the anomolous. Their method is different though and they prefer termination/destruction of all SCPs. They aim to achieve this through 5 different mission statements:
Survival: The GOC has to protect the human race against all paranormal threats, this mission takes priority over all other four mission statements.
Concealment: The GOC has to keep the knowledge of paranormal threats secret, as exposure of said threats could lead to mass panic and, eventually, massive casualties in the wider civilian population.
Protect: The GOC always tries to protect individual humans, both operatives and civilians, whenever possible, as long as it does not go against the first two previous statements.
Destruction: The GOC should not take any risk with the survival of paranormal threats, as the very existence of the anomalous could be a risk to the human race's survival.
Education: The GOC should always expand their knowledge of paranormal threats, and study said threats, as long as it does not go against the four previous statements.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War: The 7th Occult War is a period in human history where anomalies were utilized in combat. The Seventh Occult War occurred during the Second World War where the Allied Occult Initiative (the predecessor of the GOC) fought against Nazi Occult Groups, primarily Ahnenerbe Obskuracorps.
The Director of Advanced Research and Applied Archaeology, Konrad Weiss, discovered the “Rite of Solomon”, an ancient occult ritual, which would later be designated SCP-3457, which could be used to change the nature of thaumaturgy (magic) and how to distribute supernatural powers among to the human population. The Nazis hoped to rewrite magic in a way, that only Germans (more notably Hitler's regime and key-supporters) could preform magic, making them a true "master-race". In order to perform the rite, seven keys were need. Over time six keys were found by the Nazis, but the seventh, hidden inside a golem, was lost. Without this final key the ritual could not be completed.
As the war was slowly being lost, Weiss decided to produce the seventh key himself, before deciding to scrap all "Jewish art" in favor of "Aryan magic", by having his scholars design nine new keys. This apparently proved to be successful and resources started being gathered to perform the ritual. However in 1944, the SCP Foundation managed to capture Weiss, along with key details of ritual itself. Defeated, Weiss gave up information that allowed the Foundation and the Allied Occult Initiative to stop the Obskurakorps from completing the ritual and ending the war.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
The GOC is set apart from other groups by its diverse makeup, and governing body. It's strict destructive mission statement towards SCPs also make it unique, and sets it apart from the Foundation and CI, who wish to respectively study and weaponise SCPs.

Codename: "Maelstrom"
Serial Number: 92260199/901
Real Name: Martin Parker
Nationality: Australian
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: 08/05/1992
Biographical Information: Martin was born into a standard family with 4 other siblings. He didn't excel at anything throughout his childhood, although was always athletic and bright. He participated in a lot of sports and won a few lower level competitions in various sporting teams. When he finished school, Martin enlisted in the Australian Army Reserves, scoring highly in the aptitude and physical tests. He started studying through the ADF but was deployed mid way through his degree of Psych. Martin quickly became recognised as an excellent soldier. He was recruited into the Australian SASR and was deployed a handful of times in Afghanistan to aid in the conflict. Martin's reputation was soon recognised by several groups that work with the anomalous and he was offered an opportunity to discuss employment with a 'Special' branch of the UN. Unsure of what this detailed, he accepted this invitation to satisfy his curiosity, the outcome remains unknown for now.
