Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
  • Ever since being a part of the medical department as a trainee which led me to become a Sr.Doctor, I have enjoyed the teamwork and helping hand that other doctors gave to me and helped me understand my role as a doctor. When I became a Sr. Doctor I began to give back the knowledge that I have gathered and began to help mentor and give guidance to certain doctors who were willing to learn and want to do better. Helping other doctors and guiding them to become more professional and competent when meeting with a patient with medical issues has made me learn more in ways to refine my knowledge and share it with my colleagues. When it comes to medicine creation in the lab to the basics of communicating with patients and other personnel I feel that I have improved and will continue to help others improve as well. Jumping from being a Sr. Doctor and Medical Consultant will broaden my horizons and give me more opportunities for myself to help make change where it's necessary for the betterment of the medical faculty.

What makes you suitable for a Medical Consultant?:
  • The best way I could describe it is that I am proficient with mentorship and the ability to help others with a sense of passion and dedication as long as they are willing to meet in the middle. Another one to point out is that the demeanor I would like to portray is professional and cordial to always build a learning environment with other colleagues whether it may be with multiple patients with illnesses being in the training room helping consultants with trainees or in the operating room.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
  • I'm going to discuss one of the most common illnesses that occur in patients what the procedure is and how to create the cure and administer the cure to the patient. The illness will be a Bacterial Infection.
  • Step 1. Finding the Illness:
- When a patient walks in there are two distinctive symptoms that a patient will have to detect whether it is a bacterial infection. One is the swelling of the head. If a patient walks in and their head is a bit larger than usual relative to their normal body size, that can indicate a bacterial infection. Another would be the swelling of the leg. The same applies when the patient walks in and one of their legs is larger than usual.

- Step 2. Scanning the Illness:
- Now keep in mind that there is another infection that can cause swelling and it's also a Sinus infection. If the patient or doctor is still uncertain for sure that it is a bacterial infection, then the doctor must escort the patient to the main room where all the machines are. The doctor will instruct the patient to lie down in the scanning machine that detects infections to make sure for certain that it is indeed a bacterial infection.

- Step 3. Curing the Illness.
- Now when it comes to curing the illness, the doctor needs to make sure that they have the right medication to cure the bacterial infection for the patient. To cure a bacterial infection, the doctor must administer a medication called Erythromycin. Erythromycin can be created in the Chem Lab located at the very far end of the Medical Facility.
- Step 4. Administering the Cure to the Patient.
- Now the medication can be administered two ways whether it is with an injection gun or orally to the patient. The best way is to grab an injection vial and put the medicine in the vial, reminding that it doesn't have to be the full vial. When you fill the vial, only put half back into a beaker or flask. This will prevent unnecessary waste of medicine and can still cure the patient
To create Erythromycin will involve the following items and chemicals :
- Anhydride (Can find it from the Chemical store clerk in the lab)
- Diazepam ( Salicylic Acid + 2-Naphthol, Combine both in a beaker and hang it over a flame to create Diazepam.)
- Once both Anhydride and Diazepam are both mixed together in a beaker, hang the beaker of a flame and it will create Erythromycin.

What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
  • The main responsibilities of a Medical consultant are to oversee/observe other medical personnel in their task to make sure that the procedures and tasks to cure/fix a patient are done without any ill matter or any wrong procedures and practices during surgeries and operations.
  • Another responsibility of medical consultants is to train new trainees and guide them with the right knowledge and procedures. To make sure when training a trainee have them feel confident in their ability to take the Medical doctor exam so that they can become a doctor themselves.
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Dennis Gordon was a death row inmate from the beginning before joining the SCP Foundation facility staff. Before Dennis was ever incarcerated and on death row, he was an EMT personal working night shifts in downtown L.A. After a very gloomy and long night shift, Dennis was relaxing with the music turned on waiting for the next call. After a couple of minutes, a call came in with a gunshot victim near a local grocery store. Upon arriving at the scene, Dennis informed dispatch that he had arrived stepped out to grab his gear from the back, and approached the scene to give aid. Upon seeing the victim, Dennis immediately sprung to action with the proper procedures to help stabilize the patient. While Dennis was giving aid, an officer warned Dennis to hurry and get him into the ambulance as the area they were in was a hot spot for gang-related activity. Dennis successfully stabilized the patient's gunshot wound and went to grab the stretcher. Dennis opens the door to the back of his ambulance, and a sudden tap of metal from a barrel touches his left temple. The gang member commands Dennis to hand him his keys quietly and Dennis does so. The man grabs the keys and makes a signal in the air and multiple armed combatants enter the scene causing a gunfight to ensue. During the massive commotion of bullets and crossfire, multiple officers bystanders, and gang members were injured, Dennis ran to the gang member with his keys grabbed his neck from behind, and threw him on the floor. The gang member falls onto the floor losing the grip of his gun in the process. Dennis, filled with adrenaline, saw a window of opportunity grabbed the gang member's gun, and fired three shots into him. Dennis then grabs his keys and during the wild gunfight, gets into the passenger seat and back up leaving the stretcher and patient, who was shot multiple times again and died, behind. Dennis hits the main road and pedals to the metal. Dennis was trying to recollect what he just did and why he left trying to unfold the major situation that just happened. All of a sudden an interaction comes up real fast as Dennis never took his foot off the brakes. A married couple around 24 and 26 were crossing with their 5-year-old daughter. Dennis didn't even have the chance to break.

Many months pass and Dennis wearing an orange jumpsuit in front of a jury stands in the trial of manslaughter x3. The judge deemed it so to sentence Dennis Gordon life in prison and to be put on death row after 5 years of prison time. Dennis, looking at the judge with sadness and contempt took this sentencing with acceptance and was shipped to prison. As two years go by, Dennis lies in his cell sleeping. A loud bang on his cell door awakes him. A prison guard informs Dennis that a couple of people were there to see him. For many years Dennis wandered around the D-Block cells and internal yard making friends with other inmates and foundation faculty. Due to Dennis’s experience being and EMT, he gave good advice to many other doctors and guards. It wasn't long until Dennis was recognized as a good inmate and a friend that the foundation staff erased his death sentence and recruited him into the medical sector. Dennis was ecstatic finally being able to do what was good at again. This made Dennis realize that 2nd chances do come around. During Dennis’s Trainee medical position, he met a lovely lady named Zyon "Orca" who was a Doctor at the time. They bonded together telling jokes and laughing with each other enjoying each other's company. Wasn't long until Dennis asked Zyon to date her and she said yes. Many months went by as they were always together and no one in the faculty ever saw these two separated for even a split second and finally after 6 months, Dennis proposed to her and she said yes. Many months flew by with Dennis being a doctor and it didn't take too long for him to go up in the ranks as a Senior Doctor in the foundation medical department. He was a mentor to many other doctors and always helped wherever they needed. He became good friends with his higher ups wanting to do right by all of them no matter what. This is where his inspiration to be a consultant sprung. To be apart of a whole that helps manage and take care of the medical sector and its faculty
