What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion adds a headcam like system, but on deployable cameras. These cameras could be deployed on a tripod and carried by anybody. They can be placed on most surfaces and their feed access via the personnel tablet. When placing the camera, you can set its clearance access level and name so you can easily find it on the headcamera system and limit who can see it. Different to headcams, these cameras would have sound and colour vision. Finally, these cameras would have about 200hp so if you shoot them enough they will be destroyed.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
Nope.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
New, interesting research dynamics
More realistic approach to dealing with certain anomalies, especially when d-class are too unsafe to enter
Greater level of options for gamemasters to use
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Development time
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
My main idea for this system is for it to be used in research and events with gamemasters, where they may want more immersion and the ability to have a secondary option over headcameras on d-class with the ability to have sound and colour vision, at the cost of the mobility.
