I've received 1 warnings for RDM for the lack of knowledge of the server but since then I've read the SCP rules multiple times.
Why are you applying for the Director of Medicine?
I'm an active Chief of Medicine, I usually play around 6-8 hours on the server and I dedicate roughly around 2-3 hours on Chief of Medicine. Since we've gotten 4 new Chief of Medicines, I've noticed a surge of players that enjoy RPing as medics and I wish for the growth to continue.
What makes you suitable for Director of Medicine?:
In my current position I've been trying my hardest to make sure everyone is having fun, I go out of my way to talk to the doctors/trainees to ask them simple questions about the medic job. I usually ask how they feel about the medic role in its entirety to be able hear a lot feedback from majority of the medical team. I try to include everyone into things I do to make them feel apart of the team no matter what rank they are. Since the medical team is small at the moment I want to be able to log on and constantly see people playing the role, I personally feel like there's more that we can do in this department to make it more fun and enjoyable to the people. I've noticed the check up RP being put in play and I want to see more like it in the future, I understand doing to much will make it a bit difficult for people to follow along so if we slowly add more RP scenario into the game it'll brighten up the Medic role. I want to be able to hold lectures and talk to the medics about any changes or bring up major things I notice people not following.
What are the responsibilities of the Director of Medicine in RP?:
The role of Deputy Director of Medicine is to make sure the medical team runs smoothly while the Director is busy doing other stuff, you're one of the pillars that holds up the medical team. Be helpful and answer any question that someone might have for you. As a Deputy you're one of the highest ranking in the medical team so act professional while still having an iron fist to not let things get out of control. The most important thing in my opinion is lead by example. (Also try to make it a bit fun from time to time so people don't get bored and leave the team)
Please give some lore about your Director of Medicine character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Yukiri, grew up in a small town on the west coast of North America, in this town there was an outbreak of SCP-610 that over took all the townsfolks leaving him as the last survivor. While this was going on Yukiri hid in his treehouse for protection, from a distance he heard a bunch of vehicle and helicopter with SCP decals on the side. They contained all cases of SCP-610 and burned down all the houses leaving nothing behind. Yukiri came down from he tree house and went up to the men to ask what's going on, they didn't say anything to him. Next thing he remembers is waking up in a cell in the foundation being questioned by what looks like researchers, after question him they took him to the medical bay to run vitals and test on him. The doctor that was running all the test took a liking to the boy and took him under his wing teaching him everything that he knew. Yukiri started to work for the foundation after 5 years, treating patients that fell ill to any SCP and rising through the ranks.
