What does this suggestion change/add/remove:

Can there please be a way to disable the screen flashing effect that comes with becoming a zombie or "having a headache" as I personally find it really unbearable and it typically gives me a real headache if I look at it; it's just hard to look at for any period of time.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Difference as noted by another user (Emilia Foddg): "If you read the denial, it was denied in favour of toning it down to be not as bad. Given that, to my knowledge at least, the effect is still the same as it was last year and there are (and should be) higher development priorities, I honestly think either a permanent removal or even just a temporary removal to be later reimplemented better would be far more constructive than just leaving it as-is. This is not UX-friendly design. It may even be, in fact, the opposite. I personally have never had any problems with the effect (That being said, I was primarily an 096 player, so take that as you will), but I fully understand why it is an issue for others."
Thanks Emilia Foddg

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
Improved Accessibility
Not outright removing it but just being able to toggle it

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Some people probably like the effect but im only suggesting a toggle-option not a removal of the effect.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Improved accessibility is always a plus.

Hello,

Does this ability perhaps already exist and I just don't know how to disable it?

Thanks

Being able to disable the effect outright has been denied here.

That being sad,

You need to follow the suggestion format here - Else you risk this being closed without response. It's a general rule that only suggestions that follow the format get considered.
Which to be honest, going by the current state of affairs, seems kinda redundant if actual suggestion content is going to be disregarded/otherwise misinterpreted anyway.

Once you get this following the format,

It's not UX-friendly because being sick should suck. The discomfort incentivizes interaction with medical personnel. I do agree with toning it down, but not to such a degree that it's practically unnoticeable.
