Depends if we are talking about OS or the actual phones.
OS wise android is definitely better than iOS, mainly due to the fact its open source, and if you're a developer its far cheaper and easier to develop an app for Android.
With actual phones, Apple has dropped the ball since the iPhone 13. Each model since has been basically a reskin with slight improvements, while Samsung and Google with the Pixels usually have some good improvements with each generation of phone, but given Tim Cook has stepped down as CEO of Apple, and their SVP of Hardware will be taking on the role. I hope to see some good improvements with the new generation of iPhones
