What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Currently mastery level 5 is required before getting any licenses. However, several methods of mastery xp gain are gated behind having a driving license, particularly during peacetime. This can be direct (xp is given for driving and resupplying FOBs) or indirect (without someone to drive a supply truck FOBs can't be constructed). Particularly with FOB construction, the lack of capable drivers often results in one player having to personally manage placing all the blueprints and doing supply runs.

Achieving Mastery level 5 also takes a substantial time investment from the player. It might make more sense for there to be no level requirement for the basic driving license, seeing as PFC is already a requirement.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- More methods of XP gain accessible to newer players.
- Less dependence on higher level players for basic logistics.
- More engaging peacetime activities for new players.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Increased numbers of bad drivers if licenses aren't properly vetted.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
The current limitations to basic driving come across as arbitrary and unnecessary. The license exam still has to be administered to get the license, so the level requirement serves little purpose besides artifically stalling progression for new players.

Hi Merlin,
Your suggestion has been denied. When the issue surrounding the licenses (particularly Driving) was risen, I hopped on an alternate account to see if it was as big of an issue as was made out to be and honestly, it didn't take long. 4 wars and a few peacetime trainings to have access to every single license is not a big ask at all. It's fair to make the argument that maybe some people are less combat-able however, there are alternative methods to gaining XP that should be explored. 200xp per Training, trainee programme, killstreak multipliers, long range kills, paradropping, vehicles killed, helicopters killed, hacking missions from CMISSIONS, participating in other various CMISSIONS, participating in GM Held events that reward XP. There's just too many issues with giving out more and more equipment and giving out XP as much as we are as it will limit player enjoyment as soon as we have a large amount of people trying to play certain jobs and being limited by the fact everyone is mastery 20 for example. We hope you understand.

Thanks, Content Team
