Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: Yes, it was for ERP for telling 912 "he had a nice ass." and looking back, I did not know it was ERP, and I have learned from this.
Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
- It’s been a while since I stepped down, and a lot has changed. I want to catch up on what I missed. I will say I would be joining at a bit of a low point in the Medical Department’s history. But I want to help with relieving some pressure from medical staff. I want to be very clear; I want to be the best medical. I will say the Medical Department is doing the best with what they have been given.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?
- I have prior medical consultant experience. Also have prior medical assist work permits when I was D-class. When I was D-class I saw a lot on how CL4+ personnel act. I’m also good at making things look nice with what I am giving. When I get in the zone, my Creativity just starts going. Knows when to take charge of a situation. And I quote myself "The medical department is more then just healing people but getting to know then." - Duke

- EST procedure
1. Get consent
2. Ask if they have been revived ones before
3. Tell them to lay down on the EST machine
4. Don't go to the Light

Background:
D-2692 (“Duke” Astro [XII]) is the son of Hazel Astro. Hazel Astro was working under the foundation as a research containment specialist for the SCP-978. When a researcher is doing an unauthorized test. The D-Class Snapped and scrambled to get a photo of anyone and everyone. On the photo, Hazel was making Redacted, looking not satisfied. She pressed a device beneath her skin that sent CL4 documents to Duke, and when Duke opened them, he got hit with a cognitohazard, causing him to black out. Redacted sent MTF Gamma-5 and MTF Delta-0 to retrieve the information and anyone that has seen it. They found the information was no longer on the computer, and Duke Astro passed out in a forest in Pinewood shortly after bringing him back for interrogation. Duke recollected he could not remember a thing, so Redacted ordered surgery on Duke's left eye "to keep an eye on him." Duke was shortly thereafter amnesticated, forgetting his former life, and got thrown into the D-Block.
Event Lore
Opening CCTV footage of 07/30/2024:
More than five minutes have passed after inciting a riot for the vending machine. When D-2692 went over to the vending machine to get a snack. When nothing came out, D-2692 started to kick the vending machine until an Orb came out instead. All the D-class started gathering around the orb until one of them picked up the orb. That is when the strange behavior started to happen the decline started to worship the orb. The other D-class started to kill for the Orb until the Orb spoke to D-2692 that he is the chosen one. The foundation, which called it a riot, retrieved the orb and put it in lower HCZ. Which the Orb Spoke again asking for D-2692, D-2692 was retrieved and brought to lower HCZ and met with the Orb once more telling D-2692 things beyond comprehension. Once the Orb stopped speaking, the Orb merged with D-2692.
My Time as Medical Consultant:
After months of refusing to leave the Foundation on multiple occasions and getting one too many medical assistant permits, the Foundation and DOM finally agreed to let me join the Medical Department as a D-class. Over time, I worked my way up the ranks to Senior Doctor, thanks to my determination, consistent work ethic, and habit of always carrying a flask of remedies for common illnesses. I also aimed to be a friendly face to everyone. After a while you start to see familiar faces, some good, some bad. At the end of the day the medical department is chill.
After Duke got cornered in a room being injected with Class Redacted and told to be a medical consultant, which he did relatively well for a D-Class being given a mountain of paperwork to read. Duke, for the first time in his life, finally felt what it was like to sign off on a work permit not for him. Duke found out that there are always people watching from a distance. After 3 months, Duke got told by an OSA to synthesize class Redacted and evaluated it on himself. After the Class Redacted wore off, leaving Duke in a state of shock, and he got told to come to the Site Manager’s office. Being forced to aid the operation on Jonny 'Bear' Hartman, leading to the tragic death of Hartman due to the negligence of Redacted, then getting Class A’ed into forgetting the incident. People found out that Duke was part of the Hartman incident, leading me to get cornered by Redacted in a room and getting Class redacted and receiving all of his memories that were previously amnesticized, and he was forced to write an incident report on it. Due to previous experiments that Duke did to himself, Duke didn’t die from the immediate effects of Class Redacted, Redacted and Redacted proceeded to drag Duke to floor three, where they experimented on Duke to find out what I did. A month later Duke resigned from being a medical consultant due to “unrelated reasons.”
Post Medical Consultant:
After being transferred to a different site that specializes in anti-cognitohazards for a time. The researchers here heard some stories from Site 65 and saw through Duke's tricks, so they put him on watch for further study. Researchers found that prolonged exposure to Duke can cause a faint small fissure in people and objects, which allows the people to trust Duke more and for objects to be used more effectively. These cracks cannot be seen by the eye but can be detected with Kant counter occasionally and/or told by Duke. If the person has enough mental fortitude, they can resist the formation of these fissures. During one of these tests with the formation of these fissures. A rare incident occurred with D-class where a fissure engulfed the entirety of the D-class, causing the nearby SCPs to start breaching containment. With the containment breach ongoing, Duke was severely injured, with his left lower forearm being “misplaced." Causing him to use anything he could to stop the bleeding. Duke devised a makeshift tourniquet, stopping the bleeding, and waited till help arrived. After the breach, the Medical Department, with the help from Anderson Robotics, was able to fit Duke with a robotic prosthesis and some “extra things.” Once that incident was over, Duke’s time at this site was over, and he got transferred back to the only site that can contain him, site 65.
