What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
[This will add rank unlocked access to buy certain weapons or skins. So say you hit ECC, you unlock access to buy a locked skin or perma gun to keep as a type of trophy to show your accomplishment. Kinda like other games have.]
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[Add more gains to expanding your experience throughout the server's many jobs and roles and more fun reason to go for them.
You could make them just stat copies of specific weapons already balanced to the server, like VHS, ARX, ect, or even just getting a skin to show off even after you step away from the position.
If wanted it can be unlocked by buying with Vpoints or just a lot of in game money to bring more income to the server.
If a MTF or GOI ever gets removed (Like B1) it would be a even more rare trophy making the removal less painful to those players.
Can even add guns like the Mosin or western revolver (Nerfed obviously) as realistic trophies that veterans would get through their time.
Can add some for even staff/GM/Dev based accomplishments (for example, a GM making a insanely good event could be given one as a reward, or a dev who worked on a major addition to the server like the containment maintenance system.).]

[I think it really would just be a fun not too serious addition that will add a bit of pride for getting to certain ranks/positions and allow players to maybe write a story as to how their character got the gun/skin after they leave the position, or even to how they got it while in the position. ]
