Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?

I am applying for Executive to have more freedom doing tests, not having to bother so many people every time I want to do a crosstest involving SCPs that I can't authorize myself, have more RP involving different parts of the site that I wouldn't have had as a Specialist, and grade others' documents or fund their tests if they give a good enough of a reason. I also want to be a big part of Research Department.
I also want to expand on testing on inanimate SCPs, like how I am expanding on SCP-9875s usage with my crosstest that will happen later this week, the SCP-1162 exploration I did, the SCP-1025 modifying, and more if I do more tests. Bring attention to inanimate SCPs, if you could say that, and their real capabitilies.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?

I have been about a week as Specialist researcher and much more time as Senior Researcher. I am good at grading documents and can think of a large amount of tests that could be done, needing GMs or not. I am active too, joining the server almost every day. I could also try making more projects or bringing in SCPs not on the server that could be quite fun or good to research, like SCP-158 or SCP-216 to note a few.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?

I have not made any excellent graded documents myself, but the 2 I have uploaded are graded Good, althought I have uploaded more documents before the info reset, I have not kept record of them. A document is graded excellent when there are almost no spelling mistakes, the information filled out is detailed and analytical, the sections are filled out properly and the information gained from the test, crosstest or project can be practically used later. And, as stated by @flameprince , "Good use of images, diagrams and photographs".

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?

Grading documents, participating in meetings, overseeing the conduct of RSD personnel, whether or not they are following proper protocol and safety procedures, training Jr. Researchers, approving certain tests and crosstests, and giving out punishments to an RSD based on what they did, approving LOAs and more.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in.

After being sent to Site-65 following the big opening, Edward Bellvin quickly get's to testing. He has been thinking about the idea of modifying SCP-1025 "Book of Diseases", which actually works. Facing difficulty to fund his own wants, he decides to join RCPT and rises through the ranks to Expert in ~2 weeks. After multiple tests and crosstests he decides to apply for Specialist and does actually get the job, where he makes a few tests that might or might not go bad... I do have more lore that Edward could have, but I'd like to reveal it later.
On which storylines could Edward be involved in? Any that might be brought up to him. Connor's storyline if it ever gets brought up again.

I've had good interactions with you, I think you'd do fine. I wish I was more involved with RSD to offer a better insight into your work & personality. Two months of (seemingly) good behaviour is good, and demonstrates that you are taking the rules more seriously.

I do agree with @Rion that your application could use a lot more substance, I'd encourage you to reconsider your answers and provide a bit more depth.

For "Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?"

- While most people who apply may be doing it for mostly self-serving reasons, try to expand upon any reasoning that would benefit the department as a whole. Some of your answers for this question belong in "what are the responsibilities of...". Don't tell us what an executive does, tell us what you will do and what you will bring to RSD as Executive. Something like, "I want to bring more depth to the simpler SCPs such as 1025, and become the resident expert on crosstests."

For "What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?"
-
A week spent as specialist, grading documents, brainstorming tests & activity feel more like basic requirements, not key factors that would make you suitable for Executive. Try telling us what you have done in your week spent as a Specialist, what qualities you bring to the table that would best fit the Executive job.

For "How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?"
- I might be a little strict for this, but I am of the mind that one should have produced at least one excellent document before becoming an executive. Your answer also omits the most notable difference between a "Good" and "Excellent" document, that being "Good use of images, diagrams and photographs" and doesn't expand beyond what someone can glean from the RSD handbook.

For "What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?"
- I would strongly recommend expanding upon this. While I'm sure you've covered the majority of what the Executive's day to day responsibilities would be, it doesn't demonstrate a strong understanding of any sort of nuance or complexity to the tasks at hand. Instead of saying "overseeing the conduct of RSD personnel" try explaining what conduct you are looking out for, what needs to be corrected & what needs to be punished.

For your Lore
- I am certain that Edward has more lore involved, and you could give us a little bit more about the character that would make him interesting as an Executive. What events has he participated in, and how has he contributed to those events? What are some mistakes that your character made that he learned from?

psst it wouldn't be a bad idea to read and get inspiration from @Whimsical_knight 's application for Executive: https://civilnetworks.net/community...rs-executive-researcher-application-uk.38524/
