I have 2 warns both for fail rp. One was when I first started and the other involved 096 and forgetting about the one-minute rule after killing one time.

What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
- I will admit that there are most likely better candidates than me out there but I'm willing to learn to be the best ECA that I can be. I am someone who is ready to learn something new and always wanting to learn. I will admit that I do have a history of being a bit annoying. I am actively trying to control this side of me, while it has gone down in recent times, it still shows up. I do have a history with the Ethics Committee and I would like to believe I am on fairly good terms with them. When it comes to taking responsibility, I have been doing that for many years. I used to be staff on a GMOD server that has since shut down years ago. I am also currently an Executive Researcher within the Research Department and I have been helping new researchers learn the code of ethics when they first join the research department. I will admit that I have broken the Code of Ethics a few times (Less than 5) during my first stint on the server back in Early 2024. But since then, I have not even been in any issues with ISD or the Ethics Committee. I am hoping to be given the chance to prove myself..

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
- The responsibilities of an ECA involve a constant upholding of the Code of Ethics no matter what they are doing. An ECA can also handle the responsibility of signing work permits for D-Class or signing documents that can be signed by an ECA such as possibly for a research test that might need Ethics Approval. An ECA is also expected to follow any and all orders given to them by either the Chairman of the Ethics Committee or an Ethics Committee Member. An ECA is also expected to report to an ECM with any of their activites such as helping out with a Tribunal when a CL4 is put on trial for a possible violation of the Code of Ethics.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Doctor Edwin Richtofen arrives at a console in his office as it hums to life revealing his Artificial Intelligence named S.A.M.

Edwin: S.A.M. are you there?

S.A.M.: Yes Doctor Richtofen, what can I help you with today?

Edwin: I need to access the file labeled ECA Backstory.

S.A.M.: Ah yes, I will need the passcode and Retina Scan Doctor.

Edwin: The Passcode is UltimusPrimusAether. Submitting Retina Scan now.

S.A.M.: Passcode Accepted, pulling up Edwin Richtofen's ECA Backstory File Now.

Edwin: Thank you S.A.M.
THE FOLLOWING FILE IS TO ONLY BE VIEWED BY THOSE WITH ACCESS GRANTED BY ONE DOCTOR EDWIN RICHTOFEN USING THE GIVEN PASSCODE AND A RETINA SCAN. ANY UNAUTHORIZED ATTEMPT TO VIEW THE FILE WILL BE LOGGED AND SENT TO THE PROPER DEPARTMENT IN THE CHAIN OF COMMAND! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Hello There,
My name is Edwin Adler Richtofen. I am currently 24 years of age with a Doctorate in [REDACTED] working as a Executive Researcher with the SCP Foundation. I was born to my father Henry Felix Richtofen, the former Director of Research of Site 115 and Amelia Richtofen (nee Carter). I have a long and storied history with the foundation as it runs in the family. It all started with my great-grandfather who joined the Foundation during World War 2 and spearheaded the research on the SCP known as SCP-E-115 or as my family calls it Element 115. My grandfather and father have also worked with this SCP and the foundation as well, so it would only make sense that I would as well. I currently work at Site 65 after an incident that occurred back at my old Site, Site 115. I am seeking a position within the Ethics Committee. My history with the Ethics Committee has a fairly fair one. The Ethics Committee has been very supportive in one of my major projects in attempting to give SCP-682 diabetes in order to find a cure for it using his blood. However, my history with the Ethics Committee. I will admit that there have been times where my drive for research and getting results has clouded my judgement. The prime example of this was the incident that occurred at Site 115, around 2 years ago when I was 22. I disregarded the Code of Ethics during an experiment where I tested SCP-E-115 on a D-Class with Type Blue Abilities. In my eagerness to see the results, I forgot to take proper procedures that come with testing with SCP-E-115, especially on those with Abilities. This lead to a breach that caused the death of several of my colleagues. I was heavily reprimanded by Ethics but they gave me an offer I could not refuse. I was given an offer to transfer to Site 65 where they were in need of Executive Researchers but I have several conditions. I am on a one strike system, any breach of the Code of Ethics will result in the termination of my contract with the Foundation and the destruction of all my Research. Now you know a bit of my history with the Ethics Committee and I suppose you would want to know why I am applying. It's because I see a bit more clearly now. My time has an Executive Research has involved me having to deal with several of my researchers. So for that reason I want to work with the Ethics Committee for two major reasons. I want to work off my debt to the Ethics Committee for allowing me to still perform my research despite my numerous mishaps and thank for saving my life. My other reason is a personal reason that I will reveal to you in time once I believe it is right. I believe that should be enough information you need for the application. I do hope we can work together in the future, for both a better tomorrow, a better Ethics, and a better Foundation.

END OF FILE

Edwin: Thank you S.A.M.

S.A.M: You are welcome Doctor Richtofen. Would you like me to submit the file to the members of the Committee?

Edwin: Yes S.A.M.

S.A.M: Submitting Now. Good Luck Doctor Richtofen.

Edwin: Yes... Thank you S.A.M.

Edwin sighs and pulls out a cigarette and takes a puff as S.A.M goes offline.

Edwin: Here we go... There's no going back now.

While I don't appreciate the Ethics Committee consistently "borrowing" my talented Executives, I must acknowledge that this candidate has proven their worth time and time again. Their leadership skills, dedication to improving the Research Department, and ability to collaborate effectively would make them an excellent addition to any team.

I believe this individual would not only perform well in their new role but also contribute significantly to the Foundation as a whole. Their commitment to maintaining professionalism and furthering research initiatives speaks volumes about their capabilities.

In conclusion, despite my initial reservations, I wholeheartedly support this application and look forward to seeing their future contributions.

Sincerely,
Director "Grimoire"
