What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Change the following 1.05 rule from:
To:
I don't believe anything similar has been suggested before.
- Players will no longer be expected to know staff only rulings that contradict the wording of the public rules.
I don't believe this suggestion has any negatives.
This suggestion should be accepeted because its a very simply change that SSL have made before with similar unclear rules as It simply clarifies how the rule is already intended to be enforced. While players can attempt to abuse any rule regardless of its wording, that is not a reason to leave an unclear or misleading rule!
Change the following 1.05 rule from:
1.05(a) FearRP Exceptions - Yellow Suits, ERT and Reality Benders may not be FearRP'ed, unless they are under restraints.
To:
1.05(a) FearRP Exceptions – Yellow Suits, ERT, and Reality Benders may not be FearRP'd. Only Yellow Suits and ERT are immune to being restrained/handcuffed. Reality Benders may still be restrained.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?
I don't believe anything similar has been suggested before.
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- It brings the public rules in line with current staff rulings. As the rule is currently written, it implies that Yellow Suits, ERT, and Reality Benders can all be FearRP'd once restrained. However, according to staff rulings (which are only visible to staff members), Yellow Suits and ERT CANNOT be cuffed.- Players will no longer be expected to know staff only rulings that contradict the wording of the public rules.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
I don't believe this suggestion has any negatives.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted?
