For how long have you played on CG SCP: Few months, earliest I can pinpoint would be around Feb, 2022
Age: 20
In what country are you located?: USA
Time zone: EST
Character name(s): Slavoj "Meow Meow" Trotski
Civilian name: Slavoj Trotski
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP USA
Do you have a mic?: Yes
-
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: MTF-E11 (USA), MTF-Nu-7 (UK)
-
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
I believe I had a ban way back (months ago) for RDMing as a D-class on the UK server.
-
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?:
I think I would be a good match for Executive Researcher due to my skills within research (such as document writing) and also helping out other folks within the facility.
-
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I've submitted multiple excellent documents, done lectures for Jr. Researchers and Researchers on basic document writing, cross testing, and rules of the department; and helped out more generally around the facility, including helping out Jr. Researchers with the entry test.
-
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?:
I believe I've written around 3-4 excellent documents. Excellent documents are usually a mixture of good structure within an experiment (like goals and methodology); creative thinking within both the goal of the experiment, and writing style, and also making sure that it is readable (should be legible, should have acceptable grammar). Overall, it needs to be easy for another person to look at so they can get the general jist of what is being done.
-
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
Executive Researchers help out other Researchers in the Foundation through a variety of things, this includes but are not limited to: Grading documents, approving tests for researchers who want to study SCPs above their clearance, and overall be a good role model for the Research Department.
-
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Before being in the foundation, Slavoj Trotski worked as a psychologist and lecturer at a local university, where he held a position in the faculty of social sciences. He published many studies in his field and was generally well known within the academic sphere. However, alongside this, Trotski would be slowly interested in the topic of the supernatural.
It first started with getting into psychoanalytic theory of Freud and Jung , but this dive soon affected his studies, and coworkers took notice. It was within this time that Trotski found his way into the Foundation. Details are quite fuzzy within this time, given the mountains of paperwork in the labyrinth-like bureaucracy of the Foundation, but it is safe to imagine that his respectable position as a lecturer, and eclectic research was the reason for his arrival.
Trotski was a diligent workaholic, and through copious amounts of caffeine, he would gain respect with his coworkers and go through the ranks within the Foundation. He has used his previous skills as a university lecturer and researcher to study a variety of aspects within SCPs. While most are based in psychological aspects of the mind, he has increasingly devoted himself into the research of metaphysics, the aspects of things beyond traditional material-based psychology.
Trotski would also gain the nickname of "Meow Meow" during a particular caffeine binge. Caffeine makes him act in quite weird ways.
