Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- Despite my short absence from the server I have never lost my love for how it plays. Now having returned to being active on site I have developed a keen interest in the new additions to our SCP roster. Through my recent experiments I have interacted with many lower level members of the Research Department and have been able to help spread the joy that is researching. Now that I have been more actively testing and participating in tests on site I have an increased desire to have higher clearance and more freedom to perform larger more intricate tests. Of course along with this desire another desire to help Jr. Research Personnel perform better tests and fall more in love with the research department has developed.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
- My eagerness to provide excellent roleplay to those around me, and my dedication to providing the most accurate data possible when researching a subject. Along with my passion for excellent research I am a part of two research subdivisions as of writing this, my primary subdivision is the newly created Board of Extradimensional Studies where I have been directing the majority of my studies, and my secondary subdivision is the Artificial Intelligence Applications Division, where I spend my time off of large research studies touching up and working with the foundations myriad of Artificial Intelligences.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- Post SCiP Net wipe I have written 3 excellent grade documents, prior to the wipe I had written about 4-5 . As for what makes a document excellent, an excellent document has to follow or expand upon the laid out format provided to all research personnel, the document should have quality research material and proper documentation of the events of the test performed. The aforementioned document should allow any reader to have the knowledge required to attempt to recreate the test, and safely have the same results.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- An executive researcher should act as a role model and form of guidance to all members of the research department. They should have an aura of professionalism and knowledge about them at all times, and should be the pinnacle of what all members of the research division strive to be. The executives of the department should encourage members of the research department both new and old to push their research to its limits and reach places even higher than where they currently reside.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
My researchers lore is currently incomplete as I have to fully rewrite it from what it used to be but I can lay out the start to what it will be:
Sr. Researcher Valentine is an average researcher with an addiction to testing on dimensions outside of our own. Only a few months after transferring to Site-65 Valentine had a test go wrong with SCP-409 where he got contaminated by a subject that interacted with the crystal, due to the quick thinking of the attending medical personnel the spread of the crystal was quickly stopped and it ended up settling down on his shoulder. Since that date the crystal has grown very slowly and attached itself to Valentine's skeletal structure and central nervous system, but has shown no signs of contaminating other foundation personnel.
Valentine is not deeply intertwined with anyone else's lore currently but I am pushing to be at the front of extradimensional research, so that is most likely where the lore will go. Please keep in mind this is still a rough draft of the lore so I hope it wont impact your decision too heavily.
