Civilian name: Jack G
Do you have a mic?:
- Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- On launch, I held a CI role however I believe they were all removed
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
- I have received no warns, kicks or bans on SCP
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
- I am applying for the role of Executive Researcher as it’s essentially an opportunity to play a bigger role in something I already enjoy very much. Moreover, I’ve always actively said that I’d like to get a high researcher rank in order to be able to have more SCP’s to test on, increasing the Roleplay of both the D class and MTF/Security with me so they aren’t just going to inanimates and watching someone interact with a painting.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
-Executive Researcher is a role that requires a lot of Roleplay when it comes to dealing with the Clearance 4 level SCP’s and areas around the Foundation and I believe as egotistical as this may sound, my RP as a researcher is some of the best that there is. It would most likely require writing up much much longer documents than CL1 or CL2 SCP’s would require which is completely fine with me. It gives me access to Roleplaying alongside MTF E-11 whenever they’re available to assist in an escort to a high clearance SCP for testing and helps give them something to do so they aren’t in D block as so many D Class complain about. Furthermore, whilst on the topic of High clearance SCP’s, there’s never really any testing done in those that have access to SCP’s other than 173 and 035 and so with this, the Executive Researcher role plays an important part on helping the Roleplay of SCP’s as well rather than them having to wait 4 hours, t hours, 6 hours etc. with no actual Roleplay.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- I believe I have written 3 documents that are graded ‘Excellent’ and the thing that sets an excellent document apart from a good or an average document is having a very well set out document that doesn’t just go for the basic ‘aim, methods, findings’ however details every little discrepancy, scenario and action regardless of if it affects your result as well as making it clear and concise and matched up to the standards of a document found on an SCP Wiki. It’s so important to try add each little detail without trying to make a summary end quickly. Finally, the document should aim to have a very interesting and unique reason to exist whether it be the aim or what not, if it’s not unique then it needs to be something that wows those reading it.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
- In Roleplay their responsibility is to grade the research submitted by lower members of the research team
- Actively help researchers in character that may be having issues with uploading documents, setting a document out and guiding them to the correct manuals and guides to assist them so moderation interference is cut down
- Work alongside the MTF E-11 team to get investigations done on higher clearance SCP’s
- Roleplaying to the best of standards
- I think CL4+ can accept crediting and so that, or if not then I know it’s definitely SR Mod however this is technically OOC which is why I’ve coloured it Orange for now
- Making sure the lower ranked researchers are conducting valid research and aren’t abusing the job to for example use 914 to benefit themselves when the managerial position in research is busy
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Executive Researcher.
Executive Researcher. Marshal Graves
Previously within Site 56, transferred due to Budgetary limitations linked to a recent expansion acted upon as well as recent frustration raised to [REDACTED] about the overall infrastructure and design of the Foundation with a request to transfer between facilities. After being granted, he was granted the role of Executive Researcher within the new facility as well as a brief on all SCP’s and their capabilities.
His prior investigations include interactions with:
SCP-1285
SCP-1339
SCP-2007
SCP-4495
SCP-4969
These are the only experiments known by the foundation that he has interactions within
A back log of his experiences that was submitted to his personal diary that only he has access to can be found below:
SCP-4747 and the creation of the Witch Hunters. Executive Researcher Marshal Graves worked alongside the Witch hunters after prior experiences with SCP-4747-1 in order to help create protocols to prevent the spread. As far as the 05 Council know, only they have the knowledge of the REDACTED sections in the summoning of SCP-4747 however the Exec Research knows after a private experiment gone wrong resulted in the witch hunters being deployed without direct authorisation from [REDACTED] and the cause of the breach was placed as UNKNOWN. Weeks later, the Executive Researcher exposed SCP-[REDACTED] to the Witch Hunters actively deployed to contain SCP 4747-1 which terminated them. No one knows the cause or reason other than the researcher.
In fear of being caught, any opportunity I have to transfer will be acted upon.
