What does this suggestion add/change/remove?:
This suggestion would expand the current Materialise pool to all weapons, excluding explosive weapons, melee weapons, GM weapons, the Gravitron Lance, and XK-05. (and maybe GOC weapons if proven unbalanced.)

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I don't believe so.

Possible Positives of the suggestion:
  • Adds variety to the kinds of plays you can make in combat with Materialise.
  • Freshens up jobs with Materialise's combat.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
  • May take a while to properly balance.
  • Some weapons may need to be removed or added depending on how exclusive they are, or if only a few jobs are intended to have it.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted?:
Generally Materialise feels a bit hit or miss, and it would be nice to encounter unexpected and new weapons from in the pool, the ratio of each kind of weapon shouldn't be too heavily affected, maybe with exception of snipers as they are not currently able to be materialised.

Pulling an energy weapon is pretty common with Materialise, but it should be a bit rarer, this would allow it to be so much more exciting when you DO manage to roll one, as well it would feel like you're actually pulling a random weapon, and not 1/20 weapons that are currently able to be pulled.

I'd love to see Materialise be able to pull weapons like the M1 Garand, Gepard, or KBAR, making more interesting gunfights, forcing players to adapt to the weapon they've been given, or fall back on their other weapons.

Dude, its got auger miniguns and freedoms already, there is absolutely no reason not to add GOC weapons.

True, but it's just more about the frequency of them (there's MUCH more GOC weapons than energy weapons or augers and the like), and GOC weapons are balanced to be more powerful i guess so hey, it's debateable.
