Why are you applying for Special Agent?
I am applying for the position of special agent for a few reasons. Primarily, I am motivated to contribute to the DEA in meaningful ways and help improve various aspects of its function. I’ve noticed that the DEA documentation can sometimes be a bit disorganized or unclear, and I believe my skills and attention to detail could be valuable in editing, refining, and enhancing these docs to make them more easy to read for everyone. Additionally, I genuinely enjoy playing as DEA and engaging with other Groups of Interest (GOI). These interactions provide a fresh perspective on the server, allowing me to explore new dynamics. Overall, I am ready to bring my dedication, and skills to the DEA to help strengthen its foundation and improve the experience for everyone involved plus have some fun.
-
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?:
What makes me suitable for a Special Agent position? Well, as someone who has spent many hours playing within both DEA & E-11, I am able to effectively interact with other regiments and maintain positive, relationships. I understand the importance of cooperation and communication/teamwork, making it so that operations run smoothly and efficiently. While it’s true that DEA involves a significant amount of combat, It also requires a strong emphasis on diplomacy/negotiation. Whether it’s mediating between regiments and departments or engaging with external organizations like the UNGOC, Requiring skills to work through complex situations with professionalism. My ability to fight CI & handle things diplomatically makes me fit the role of a Special Agent. I am confident that my experience, skills, and commitment allow me to contribute to the Dept of External Affairs.
-
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
Although I have not had the chance to write documents for External Affairs, I know what makes an efficient/effective document. A document is good when it is clearly written, well-structured, and easy to follow. It should avoid rambling or overcomplicated language in order to get to its point effectively. Ensuring it quickly and clearly makes one understand the important points. Maintaining formal image that requires extra care in detail, organization, and proper formatting. All things considered, an excellent document is complete and straightforward, ensuring that its contents are informative/understandable to its audience.
-
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?:
What are some responsibilities for External affairs Special agents in RP well,
As a External affairs Special Agent you are now a junior CL4 member of staff making it paramount to have the responsibility to coordinate & organize your External Affairs Operatives to ensure the security and safety of the site. While on as a Special Agent it is your responsibility to keep up relations with GOI, give permits to MCND and do raids against CI There are many other small things you must do as well, such as make sure you agents are following COE & COC, and do SR Agent tryouts. Overall as a External Affairs Special Agent you have all the responsibilities of a junior CL4 and also the ability to help with External Affairs related task's.

Please give some lore about your Special Agent character and what storylines they would be involved in:
**Lore: Special Agent Gray**

Gray started off Right after earning his criminal justice degree from college he started working at the FBI but spent years doing paperwork (Gray wasn't very good at doing this) and reviewing case files to write reports. He maintained his attention to detail while wishing for a more exciting job. The CIA recruited him which seemed like an opportunity to break free, and realize his dream of working in the field like he saw on shows and movies as a kid, but he ended up to be doomed again while reviewing secret documents within the CIA. By now though Gray had been at this game for 6 years now and knew that in order to stand out one must be naturally gifted so Gray resigned themself to the fate of never working in the field, "Its alright" he said to himself "I never expected to get much action anyways"
-
After a significant shift occurred when the Foundation recognized his abilities. Gray was overjoyed to be offered a job at the foundation, he couldn't under stand why he was chosen but Gray knew that this might be his only chance to make something of himself. Gray accepted a DEA agent role, working with gusto ensuring that he did his best to make it at his new job and be better than he could before. This new job allowed him to apply his analytical thinking and composed nature to use in the field and on diplomatic missions alike yes he may not of had much military training but he still can support the more skilled fighters in the field.
Gray demonstrated success as a DEA agent. His past experience in intelligence operations and law enforcement provided him with unique skills for managing the fine line between diplomatic relations and enforcement tactics. He demonstrated exceptional skill in working diplomatically alongside NU7 and GOI’s which built his reputation as a dependable agent. The promotion to Senior Agent enabled him to apply his analytical skills and field knowledge to discover essential information about other GOI helping to prevent chaos insurgency raids and other hostile actions from taking place.

Gray's current status as a Special Agent demonstrates how the Foundation successfully turns unlikely candidates into resources. Starting in an office cubicle and moving to combat zones has made him progress into a formidable DEA operative who adapts every difficult mission given to him as best as possible. Special Agent Gray shows how humble origins even when one feels hopeless can evolve into journeys one never thought possible whether through his hard work or his complete determination, there were many times Gray thought to give up on his dream but thankfully he did not as if he did who know who or where he would be now mentally professionally or socially.

*Edit: I wrote Ezra instead of Gray in my lore as I hadn't decided on the name when writing it and forgot to change it until now*
