In my opinion the fullyautomatic firingmode is way too accurate to long range. Majority of the weapons are 5.56x45 or 7.62x39 calibre and in real world there is absolute no way to shoot these types of weapons fullyautomatic to long range. it would be really nice if the guns were reworked and put in to a position that favours the singlefire option. Of course the fullyautomatic firing mode can not be neglected and i still se a situations where it can be usefull, such as really close quarter combat.

^ there is a video showing the accuracy of 5.45x39 round wich is a bit smaller so you can imagine the results for a bigger calibre

im not sure if we are playing the same game or maybe i am missing something, but from my experience firing full auto is basiclly useless at range, hell even single shot is hit or miss. maybe we are thinking about differenent ranges? What is your definition of long rage

this was put into testing at the start of the campaign but there was a massive skill issue with the majority of the players so they cried a lot and it got changed back to how it is now
