What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
I'll firstly say this suggestion is in response to the town hall the server had a couple of days ago, and this suggestion is primarily aimed at the people behind said townhall, yeke In particular.
My suggestion is to re-create the fireteam system into a new system focusing on benefiting those in the fireteams as well as improving coordination and gameplay. For this suggestion to work, the following three things must first be added:
1. Voice Amp Addition : Fireteam
The Voice Amp must be updated to have a selection to speak to the Fireteam of the user. This will be given to all officer jobs.
2. New Fireteam Options : Infantry / Recon / Armour & Pilots
When creating a fireteam, you should be given the option to create one of 3 teams, a Infantry team, Recon team or Armour team (Armour restricted to tanker regiments)
3. XP reward buffs to fireteams
Reminder that these are given out to all members of a fireteam, incentivising playing together
Possible new rewards, peacetime + wartime:
+100xp : Enemy restrained
+80xp : Enemy hands cut off
+50xp : Enemy drugged (injected)
+15xp (per tick) : Supplies delivered
+20xp (per few hits) : FOB Construction
+50xp : FOB radio placed
+20xp : Structure repaired
+30xp : Structure built
+20xp : Vwar Emplacement used
+50xp : Helicopter Downed
+50xp : Tank destroyed
+25xp : Vehicle destroyed
+15xp : Enemy Downed
+20xp : Enemy Killed
+50xp : Friendly healed (Using first Aid kit)
+50xp : Friendly picked up
+25xp : Friendly dragged (new system?)
+60xp : Friendly revived (When defibs are added, the suggestion was accepted)
+50xp : Destroyed enemy rally point
+5xp : Sniper Kill
+5xp : Drone Kill
These are a rough set of ideas and XP proportions, all up to discussion and balancing.
4. Changing the Rally Point swep
For this change to work, and for fireteams to not become extremely unuseable, the ability to make them should remain at SGT. For this to work more fluently, I suggest the rally point swep become multi-use, and with the use of RMB, should be able to place FOB radios.
This also leads into the fact that MRP's player base is a lot lower than before and so less and less people are actually able to place FOBS.
5. Fireteam Job restrictions :
Armour & Pilots (3 Slots):
Officer/NCO - 1
Engineer/Pilot - 2
Infantry (6 Slots) :
Officer/NCO- 1
Medic - 2
Engineer - 1
Marksman - 1
AT/AA - 1
Infantry - 6
(not all Slots must be filled, obv)
Recon :
Officer - 1
Sniper - 1
6. Bonuses for using certain jobs in fireteams:
Officer :
Given a voice Amp to speak with fireteam and a rally point swep for placing FOBs and rally points for their fireteam/faction.
Given a flare gun
Engineer/Pilot :
Vehicle repair swep boost
Medic :
Defibrillators
Marksman :
+2 Smoke grenades
AT/AA :
+2 Rockets

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
I think currently the fireteam system works.. honestly, terribly. The XP given out is poor, the coordination is nil and the only bonus of using the system is to get a rally point. This suggestion gives a bonus incentive to playing using teamwork and coordination and gives a set of bonuses when done.
I think the fireteam system is one that is a great idea, but only when fleshed out more. This suggestion hopes to achieve just that, while also delivering the large scale change that the server could use to feel fresh again.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
A ton of dev work
A lot of balancing
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I think this system is well adapted from its inspiration (Hell Let Loose) to work in MRP and could certainly bring about a new, fun way to play wars in MRP with more coordination across regiments.
