Content Suggestion Foundation Tank Rebalance

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion suggests a total rebalance of the tank asset for foundation. Mainly the fact that is too cheap for WAY too much firepower. It is 2.8mil war funds in order to call it in. This is gets you a main gun that can 1 tap or 2 tap any LVS vehicle in the game (This also includes GOC) and other things. Furthermore, the only way it is even remotely countered in the slightest is if you spend more war funds then the tank costs in order to destroy it.
Furthermore, the only way to deal with such a war fund asset without bankrupting yourself by calling in everything under the son is to stop them from calling it in at all via war fund hacking.
As well as this, the Main way to fight the Leopard is the BTR 90, which has no armor on the bottom side of the vehicle meaning that it gets 1 shot 90% of the time by the tanks main gun as you can just shoot under the wheels and it 1 shots it. This should NOT be the case, a 2mil war fund vehicle should not be 1 TAPPED by a 2.8mil war fund vehicle

The main parts of this suggestion are:
- Drastically, rethink the cost of the tank for war funds, 2.8mil is way too cheap for how much you get. It should be increased double to 5mil at the bare minimum.
- Reduce the speed that the main tank gun shoots, (increases the time to reload for the main guns shell)
- Add armor to the bottom of the BTR 90 so that you cannot just shoot under it and 1 shot it completely by using the tank main gun

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
This will rebalance a drastic outlier in the LVS vehicle line up, a tank should be able to rattle off shells that 2 tap vehicles every 5 seconds. As well as this, the main force that fights the tank is able to actually put up a fight against it without being 1 tapped.
Furthermore, you will actually have a fighting chance of destroying the tank as paired with the gun that can 1 or 2 tap everything it has insane amounts of Armour and health meaning you cant destroy unless you call in every war fund known to man and also be coordinated to high hell.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- The tank is easier to deal with (It is slightly over tuned)

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Based on what has been said previously, I believe this should be accepted because the tank is way too cheap for what you get and what it can do. As well as this, the ways to fight the tank (The BTR 90) should) should have armour at the bottom so the 2mil warfund vehicle is not able to be 1 tapped by the main gun of the tank.

Furthermore, the tank gun shoots way to fast for what you get as it can 1 or 2 tap most vehicles and it shoots every 5 seconds.

-The BTR-90 was not made to directly fight the Leopard in a 1 to 1 battle, it was made to immobilize the Leopard and cause damage with the help of Infantry (CI with Matador / AT4's) this can also be done quite fast if you just hit the points with the least amount of armor (The Back / Engine). I'm sure there are a lot of clips of this happening.

I believe that bug only happens when the btr moves while shooting the missile could be wrong though
I mean it is pretty clear that if you are driving forwards the missile will bug out. Not sure how this is not a known thing.
It doesnt matter if your moving or not, not moving just makes it less likely (even tho it happens still like 70% of the time) and makes sure that it doesnt hit yourself
 
I mean the current Leopard 2A7 is technically nerfed; normally its main cannon, the L44, reload time is actually 4 seconds, meanwhile, the in-game version of it is 5 seconds or so It feels like. The equipment and warfund equipment CI have is used to counter the foundations vehicles/warfunds...like the M202, Bomb drones or other stuff....you cannot just rush the Leo with a BTR-90 and thinking I will win this, use strategy or plan out on how to take out the Leo. Oh and technically the Leo is slower if you again compare the Real Life of the Leo, the maximum speed for the Leo is 70 mph

Now I am going to give a neutral support here. I understand where you are coming from. The tank is a tad looney, and I personally have suggested to Auburn before in a discussion he had with me when I was CI COM on USA that CI should receive a new glass cannon vehicle (Look up the 2S25 Sprut-SDM1) that could help counter the tank, while being a similar price to it, i also feel like the tank is able to be killed with the right tactics.

It's a tank, it's meant to have high armor and health, it's a 120mm cannon firing sabot rounds at Mach Jesus, you ain't gonna live many of those in an IFV/APC like the BTR. As for the no armor on the bottom, idk about that, I've never seen that be an issue.

I believe before this suggestion was made, an attempt at battle doctrine changes could have been done. Focus less on full scale attacks, work on ambush tactics, flanking, or even just sending in a DC or two to try and steal the tank/destroy it. Attacking a tank head on in an IFV, ain't the smartest thing to do. But flanking a tank, hitting it in the rear with the fast firing autocannon of the 90, maybe shoot a rocket and have some guys with 202 or matador? That shit will destroy a tank.

I can say these tactics work, amazingly well even. Only about a month ago, USA GOC had a war with Foundation. While they are not direct comparisons, they are similar enough to where they can be fairly compared. I drove the Puma, almost everytime it was out. I killed several LAV, Marder, and even 2 Leopards while I was doing that, all solo aswell mind you. This is all just to say, using different tactics, trying to flank your enemy and not attack headfirst should be the option when fighting armor.
 
Shockingly a tank is meant to be powerful.
CI steals from Foundation more than enough to make it less viable to spend 2.8 million warfund's on a tank. Furthermore, the leopard is actually more expensive than the Puma (The GOC tank), which is 2.5 million warfund's, not a huge difference but still a difference.
Vehicles are not completely impenetrable, they have weak spots. If the BTR-90 has a weak spot then work around it, don't just complain about it.

I'm no Foundation main (anymore) but I've seen CI deal with Leopards often enough to know you don't actually need it to be nerfed for you to deal with it. Some things take effort and not everything is going to be a cake walk or fair.

not even the tank thats the problem its the lack of counter play there is to it. btr 90 is 2 mil shoots itself with a rocket and gets 1 tapped. the m202 is significantly weaker than it used to be and being on a cooldown of over an hour. use "tactics" is a retarded statement when the cooldowns for said things are hours which leaves a massive gap where the tank is unkillable. make the m202's something to be afraid of and make the btr 90 2/3 hits depending on the weak spots and u have it balanced.

none of this is about me because i kill tanks alone 😈
 
^ what this man just said is true, if u never fought against or drove one pls don't -support saying we are supposed to use tactics against it, there is no tactics that we can use where it doesn't end in a massive loss for ci, either you lose btr-82s cuz they get 1 tapped by the tank, lose m202 cuz of infantry (or the fact that the tank has 2 turrets that both can shoot thru rocks for some reason?) or lose the btr90 because half of the time the rocket just kills you. if you do decide to throw everything you have at the tank you have 2 outcomes, you either manage to take out the tank but still lose a btr and the m202s or you lose everything and can't fight on surface for the next 1-2 hours. if you by some incredible miracle do take out the tank and you don't lose anything they still have 2 more warfund vehicles that they can take out + lavs and matadors AND you are on a timer until the tank is called back in.

there is 0 argument to back off the fact that foundation is incredibly overpowered compared to ci, i get that they are basically military but it's just purely not fun.

i fought on both sides of the front and i can't say i enjoyed either, nu-7 you just destroy ci and they stop roaming, ci you try your best to fight the tank, it becomes unfun and everyone stops roaming or flags off making it even more impossible to kill the tank.

give ci another warfund vehicle, tank or not, just anything that's better than the btr-90 and can somewhat take the tank on with some support
or lower the warfund price for the btr90, it is not worth the 2 million, lower the time to call it in too.
