Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
I am applying for the position of medical consultant because while I love being a doctor, I believe my ambitions would be better utilized as a consultant. The privilege to be privy to more information and abilities would mesh well with my unrelenting personality, making it easier to share the things I've learned and discovered with others, as I love helping new medical staff learn about our field.
I’m also interested in expanding the care the department offers to sentient SCPs, as I know we have a lot to learn from how they think, and psychiatric evaluations could potentially reduce aggression and therefore problematic breaches.
-
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
I am very active and engage with everybody to the fullest, especially in cases that other people overlook, such as D-class health and psychiatric issues. I love doing psychological evaluations and tailoring my questions to the patient's specific needs, and I'm very often the only one around willing to perform them. There is no problem I'm not willing to chase to the end of the world to solve and anybody within a 10-foot radius of me gets healed as soon as I notice (and I’m always watching.)
I also feel I bring a certain personality that is not very common in the medical staff position, that is my positive attitude towards taking risks and uncovering how things aren't always as they seem. My adventurous nature has led me to notice many things around and about the facility, of its workers and SCPs alike, that wouldn't be known otherwise. I'm always eager to interact with everybody no matter their status or position and help them to the best of my ability.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
A patient has a fracture (common symptoms are pain and inability to run or inability to handle objects.) The doctor asks questions about the injury and the circumstances in which it occurred to be better informed about the citation, and also in case the issue was caused through means that are still a danger to others. The patient will lie down in the X-ray machine and a mirrored image of the affected limb will be highlighted on the display. The doctor produces a dressing and treatment for the affected limb(s) and the procedure is over.
-
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:

Medical consultants should be a voice of reason in times of discord and help guide new workers in the field in the right direction. They should uphold foundation policies and focus on conflict resolution both inside the department and between medical and other departments. Consultants should be available and willing to offer correct and helpful information and mentor prospective doctors whenever possible.
In addition to the above, Medical Consultants should be looking to further aid via doing psych evals, welfare checks on SCPs, having cures to ailments prepared in case of emergency, and assisting others when needed. The medical team as a whole can support during Code 1/2/3/5, all of which can be organized and decided upon by medical consultants.

Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

If you ask Frances about her past, she would likely give you an elaborate story lasting way longer than you'd want to listen. The next person to ask would get an equally elaborate and equally fabricated story. Each tale she tells is just as real to her as the last.
She has either no recollection of her past or is entirely unwilling/unable to share it even under extreme duress. As far as she's concerned, there is no life outside the foundation, and anything she might have done before is irrelevant. A few people seem to remember she used to be a death row inmate, but if confronted with this past she will deny and explain how illogical it is. Fixing people is her sole concern and she can be driven to annoyance if repeatedly distracted from her goal by information she considers immaterial.
Frances is always adopting traits and facets of her personality from people around her and her identity is entirely malleable by the situation she's in. She knows too much and too little simultaneously and seemingly has no internal moral framework, only mirroring those around her to seek results. She is dedicated to being a medical professional because it is gratifying to her, almost like a game. Though she has no actual emotional or sentimental stake in her position one would be wrong to doubt her conviction, because despite these things she will always put problem-solving above all else. She will always seek out issues to resolve, and people are the most interesting problem of all.

In addition to everything above, I've made multiple drawings of my character that expand on her lore and reactions to different situations that could help flesh out her character, which are posted below.
