I want to start this off by saying the gas station clerk is a really good idea and lets civies interact with Foundation, Chaos, And GOC a lot more by just being in a high traffic area for basically all groups, however outside of that there's basically no gameplay loop for the clerk, and it honestly feels like a glorified GM character, so I would like to propose some ideas for a gameplay loop that players can follow outside of interacting with people. Also, I am not aware of any plans that could be happening behind the scenes for the clerk, so this is just what I think would be good.
What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion would add a way to buy stock for the gas stations (for example eggs, hotdogs, beer, etc.) that spawns as an entity and brought to the gas station and unpacked and stocked using a swep called "stocker" or something, the shelves will have entities that can be interacted with to add items to it similar to the chems system with centrifuges, vacuum chambers etc. Once the shelves are stocked players can buy the items from the shelves and consume them like normal food. This would also act as a way for people who are fighting on surface to get food without going back to base. In the case that no one buys anything the items would despawn passively under the guise that it was ordered online via like DoorDash or Deliveroo.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?
Clerk came out today so highly unlikely
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Adds a gameplay loop for a job (especially good since its new and loads of people would be checking it out)
- Can give another way for GoIs to interact with civilians and vice versa
- More ways to play on the server (if that makes sense)
- Immersion and LARP (Needed to make the positives even. sorry)
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- DUMMY Dev time, would probably need a whole new system to even work
- If no one interacts with the gas station the whole idea falls apart and can become monotonous (being a retail worker is anyway)
- Kinda just not necessary and probably the lowest priority thing ever.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I think this should be accepted since the gas station clerk is such a simple idea that patches holes in logic of "Why is there just an empty gas station with no one in it and no food or items" and gives another reason to play civilian and a system like this would enhance it even further.
THIS IDEA WAS BASICALLY SPITBALLED FROM MY HEAD SO PLEASE DISCUSS ANY IDEAS YOU MIGHT HAVE
