People seem to widely believe that Riot officers can't escort Class D under any circumstance, and time and time again it has been proven it is not backed up by any writing or word at all, so I just wanted to make this as a PSA to everyone thats hell bent on stopping riot officers from doing anything other than standing infront of D block.
Yes, it is advisable for Riot officers to be around D Block to respond to riots, but this is the point im making.
Outside of When theres active facility codes, A Riot officer is not breaking any actual rules in the CoE, CoC, or Riot Handbook, it is merely down to people turning their own beliefs into law.
When a GenSec Higherup tells them to stay in D Block, they stay in D Block. When Certain facility codes are going, they also remain in D Block.
Absent any of these, there is no need for anyone to have a heart attack over it.

Sorry, I just had to get this out.

Wasnt RRT not escorting a part of RRT Handbook? Was then removed, idk if Shino remembers it, but I do as I had to write a bit on it :)

I went through the CoE, CoC, RRT Training/Handbook, and the GenSec Documents, closest I could find regarding it was that it said during Codes 1, 2, and 5, you are required to return to D Block immediately and drop what you're doing.

This was actually part of the RRT handbook at one point or another, like not bodyblocking w/ shields during a C2. This was likely removed without an announcement because whichever nerd emoji manages the handbook was a spaghettihead and forgot to notify everyone.

Still, get back to d-block and stop escorting

/s post over.

I do believe RRT being unable to escort is a wise idea, because honestly not only do they tend to be overkitted for such (including riot shields), but unlike Gensec they have a much lower player cap. RRT do not have nearly as many slots as Gensec, and having them tied up doing other things when a C2/C5 can occur at pretty much any moment is a really inadvisable gameplan.
