What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
NL should put on loading screen art competitions semi regularly e.g. once every 3 or 4 months for community engagement
subject to restrictions (e.g. restricted to SFM/in-game posing tools)
each time it is run a theme is given e.g. "this month's theme is GOC" or "this month we want to see surface action" etc...
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
free community engagement, near-zero effort to run (i imagine NL can just pick 1 or 2 they like most and put them into rotation w/ the snap of a finger)
more loading screen art can never be a bad thing
might be interesting
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
art bloat if this happens for long enough i.e. way too many loading screen photos; if these are cached on somebody's machine and each one is 1MB if done for long enough i suppose it could be an issue
it would be very awkward for NL if a competition occurred, they hated all of the art submitted, and had to announce that there were no winners
they realistically only appear for like 2 minutes whilst somebody is loading in, and chances are most people are tabbed out anyway; is it really worth all that effort?
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
i see no reason why not to do it, it'd be a fun thing to do on the side for those who are creatively inclined and i've seen it done on other servers b4 albeit different gamemodes entirely
