Your in-game name: Giovani "Fortunato" Zinkleburg
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:598371764
Your steam community link: Date of blacklist: 6/12/2024
To the best of your knowledge, why were you blacklisted?: Star Wars Auto-Scrolling Thingy: I contacted an admin about the reason for my blacklist using the ticket system to which they said I was flagged by the anti-cheat or that I was manually banned for an unknown reason. It's still unclear as to why but the in-game message states I was "cheating."
Please list any times you have used methods to change or hide your IP (incl. game streaming, e.g. GeForce Now): Never Used
Please list any alt accounts: None
Who blacklisted you? (if known): Anti-Cheat? Unknown.
Link a copy of the in-game rules here (the url): https://civilnetworks.net/community/threads/scp-rp-rules.2244/
What will you do to stop this from happening again:
If what the blacklist says is true then I have done no cheating to trigger the ban in the first place. If the blacklist is for something else and I have done something wrong unknowingly, I would like to know and I will change my behavior accordingly
Prior to this, have you ever been warned/kicked/banned/blacklisted? My past is long on the server and I have many warns and a couple of bans, with the longest being a Major Glitching ban which took place a year and many months ago (or maybe longer) due to my discovery of glitching into AA. All of my warns except one were years ago at this point and I have since matured and changed to respect the rules as best as I can. In relation to roles, I'm not sure to what extent I am blacklisted but I believe I am blacklisted from Chaos Insurgency and maybe other mtf roles for things I have not directly contributed to. From my understanding I was blacklisted from CI without ever actually playing in the role due to the creation of the "Zinkleburg" group, with the name later being used by bad actors I have never met. Banned by association basically.
Why should you be unblacklisted: I admit that have done many things wrong in the past for which I have been punished accordingly through in-game means; what this blacklist tells me is that I haven't done anything in particular to deserve this sort of punishment. I have Never once cheated in any online game and I only aim to enjoy the experience given to me for what it is. From my understanding there wasn't anyone in particular who banned me, rather it was the anti-cheat which flagged me for an unknown reason and If so I can't really prove my innocence in that regard, mostly because I have absolutely no clue on how cheats work in the first place. If there is a specific reason for my punishment I do sincerely apologize for whatever I may have done, for it has been a long while since I've regularly played on the server, and it was never my intention to push any boundaries set. But I do hope to at least get an answer for why I was blacklisted, so that I may reflect and hopefully come back to enjoy the server I've been apart of since nearly the beginning.
How can you ensure that you won't break any other rule?: By acting only within the means of what could possibly happen in an rp scenario. Being mindful of my surroundings and understanding when I should and shouldn't do something, referring back to the scp rules and following what is listed as black and white in terms of what is allowed. Even if it sits in a particularly grey zone I try to avoid the interpretation of rules and oblige by whatever a moderator requests as to not stir trouble as I have done so in the past. The Zinkleburgs have long been disbanded and I only keep the name is rememberance of the fun times I had on the server for which I wish to continue. As with anything, there could be hiccups along the way and I will accept anything that happens from then, as long as it doesn't result in a permanent leave from the server as I experience now.
Why do you want to rejoin this server?: It's a server I've been a part of for years now, I've seen it grow from one 60 player server to two 100+ player servers and I have stuck around with hundreds of hours for good reason. It's one of the only servers on gmod which I feel has a good balance between gameplay and roleplay. I feel like I can contribute in a meaningful way to affect how others play the role I've become an expert at. I reached level 75 dclass the other day and I for sure want to reach that 100 mark through continuous improvements to my gameplay and escape plans. I just wanna enjoy my summer vacation chilling with my fellow d-boys and causing riots; and I don't think I've done anything to make my pressence unwelcome.

Thank you.
