Denied give ci cartographer a hacking device

What does this suggestion change/add/remove: Give CI cartographer a TE-5

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?: No

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):

- Aligns cartographer with rest of combative CI jobs since its the only one without a hacking device for some reason
- Will make it so alphas can raid with the job since they cant dispense their own te-5, hypothetically boosting the amount of people paying for the job by .001%

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Something something not all jobs need all equipment idk I guess this would make CI op my bad

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted: To me it seems like an oversight that cartographer doesn't have a hacking device and I've been cucked on multiple raids now because I assumed my combative CI job had a hacking device and it doesn't, and even if I wanted one I'm too low rank to get one Auburn plz i need this

I think the CI Cartographer should get a SWEP that spawns a second CI Cartographer controlled by the same player.

realistically a cartographer wont be going anywhere alone, and therefor will probably have someone else with a keycard or hacking device, so theres not much need really.

what an absurdly dumb response you have given. I specifically used cartographer as an example as there is very few scenarios where they themself would go anywhere solo. NOT the case for the rest of CI combatives.

Hey @pinhead,


I understand why you want this, but I have decided not to include it. It's something you can easily obtain from a dispenser, and the role itself is rarely utilised. Additionally, this decision helps keep the entity count lower. It may seem laughable but every item contributes to that total. If we accept 100 small items, it could lead to 1000 additional entities.
