What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
As the title states, give CI Deep Covers a Clearence 1 Foundation Keycard.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
I don't believe so
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- CI Deep Covers would not need to kill Non-Combatives to access basic areas of the site
- Researchers can make documents in peace without being exploded so CI DCs can get around the site (This is point 1 but funny)
- The keycard would have their CI names on it so it could not be used as an ID
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- It could potentially be unbalanced
- CI would farm keycards off of Deep Covers to use elsewhere, but tbh that would probably be FailRP
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I think this makes sense in and out of RP and could be productive to server health; it is at least worth a trial run.
As it is, if CI doesn't have any keycards in their base already, they have to do a DC raid without them, which ends comically fast because they spawned in PW vents, or they will have to murder an innocent researcher or other non-combative for a keycard, sometimes more than once, and more times than not this will cause said-non combative to just get off, or be very upset because they had something on them, or it interrupts something they're doing.
This allows the DCs basic access to LCZ areas while making it so they don't have to interrupt newer player's RP to do it.
As per the downside of it being unbalanced, they can only access 173 and 912 with it to breach, and if they were to farm the CL1s, it would most likely just be considered FailRP since that's an unrealistic action, so I don't think it would be too big of a deal.
As I said, I think this would be a good thing to test run and see how/if it gets abused.
