What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
This suggestion will add a new rule called "FOB Infiltration"
FOB Infiltration will basically allow infantry regiments to go onto enemy FOBS and specifically destroy the structures around them. The FOB Radio itself can not be damaged, only the surrounding structures. A FOB Infiltration has to be called over open comms similar to how a pathfinder is called. A pathfinder and FOB Infiltration can not happen on the same FOB, but they could happen on 2 different FOBS at the same time (This has to be according to player count). The infiltration has to be called by someone that is above the rank of MSGT. A separate class could be made for this but is not needed.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
No
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
-Gives Infantry regiments something to do during peacetime instead of building FOBS 24/7 and doing worthless trainings.
-Gives more player interaction instead of AFK simulator
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
Nothing I can think of.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Almost every single regiment on the server aside from tank regiments have some sort of secondary purpose. KGB/RMP can arrest, AG/SAS can do missions, JAF/ABT can do pathfinding missions, however Infantry regiments usually have nothing action pact or interesting to do during peacetime. We are currently left with doing trainings and building FOBS which almost every regiment can do alongside different types of secondary activities. Currently infantry regiments are moreso seen as "FOB Building Regiments" as we are heavy in numbers. I want this suggestion to bring eyes to this issue as a good chunk of the player base start off in SHA/ISAF. FOB Infiltration may not be the direct solution but can open ideas to new concepts and possible content ideas to how infantry regiments may be improved during peacetime.
