Content Suggestion Giving medals

What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
With the medals now in game, I am suggesting two things:

1. For MTF regiments, CI, and GOC (and others where possible): When you are the appropriate rank (like LT+), and on the regiment job, you can give medals to other people.
2. When on the appropriate job (or appropriate rank), you can give yourself medals, instead of hoping for someone else to give you medals.

Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
No this hasn't been suggested before.

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):

1. Quality of Life improvement as you should be able to give yourself medals instead of only giving medals to other people of appropriate job.
2. Quality of Life improvement again as you should be able to give medals after said rank instead of having to be on appropriate jobs.

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:

• Would mean it takes development time.
• Perhaps unnecessary feature as you can just go on the appropriate jobs but there will be times when the job is full.

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
I believe having at least the ability to give yourself medals on the appropriate job (or after said rank) is a big quality of life improvement, and I don't know why we wouldn't be able to do this already. However, the second feature would be nice to include as it eliminates the issue where it is locked per job, not per rank. Originally keycards were locked per job in a regiment, and then later updated per rank.

I've only been told you need to be on the Officer or Commander jobs

Giving yourself medals sounds like a bad idea and tbh defeats the point of being awarded a medal, but having it rank based was planned, I think its just its broken currently, and the jobs is the work around
