What will you do to stop this from happening again:
Next time when I go to sample a SCP, I will wait 30 minutes after each sampling test before redoing the sampling on the same SCP. I would also just go host a different test instead of the same exact sampling test.

Prior to this, have you ever been warned/kicked/banned? Yes.

Why should you be unbanned: While I was attempting to take samples, I had apparently taken more then 3L, which at the time I didn't know about the rule, but the admin that banned me had been watching me run the entire test, and didn't intervene, or make an attempt to deter the rule breaking, When I asked another admin they said that if an admin is watching rule breaking, with exceptions towards MRDM, and Severe toxicity, they should attempt to deter the rule breaker, and reference them to the rules so they can further learn the rules with much lower chances of them being repeat offenders. Based on this factor, and that I was not actively harming another players RP, I feel I should be unbanned. I also only had more then 3 flasks with samples, as I picked them up before the Class-D could fully fill them, to not let him have any chances of stealing one and escaping.

How can you ensure that you won't break any other rule?:
While I did not have any intent to break the rules, with the new information I have gathered on the rules regarding sampling, I can make more informed decisions next time I choose to get samples from any given scp.

Why do you want to rejoin this server?:
I want to rejoin the server, because I love playing the server and I feel like this whole situation could've been avoided if the admin had made an attempt to prevent a rule from being broken.

1.28 Sampling Limit - Players, per group, may only sample 3 liters of any item from one SCP every 30 minutes. (A group being per department, MTF unit, and Faction like UNGOC/CI)

I have witnessed you take more than 3 liters as I have watched you take an estimated 5 liters at the time of me watching you, I am unaware if you have taken more since I haven't spectated you from the start.

Second case of farming:

During the test (Also confirmed by the logs) you credited the D-class and the cadet multiple times as soon as they were off cooldown.

Note :
During the time you have been on the server, you were playing the Senior Researcher Role. and at the same time, you weren't a small level either.
At the sit you mentioned that "you didn't know that this server had the same rules" which in this position doesn't excuse the fact that you have broken these server rules.
You have also mentioned here on the forums and also pinged me on discord saying I should have explained the rule first, which isn't my job to go and explain a written rule on the rule page. As bad as it sounds if you have joined the server, you have accepted the rules and should follow them.
If you haven't read them then sadly the blame falls on you, not on SL or the Staff team.

I would also like to mention that giving more then one credit per test is not specifically stated in the rules, and is instead something for IA to handle through RP. I would also like to mention that an estimate is not certain proof, and should not be a valid reason to ban someone. I would like to mention I credited them on the way there due to my own mistake of getting lost in HCZ on the way to 106, When I asked another mod " Rogue Pirus Jwang" Rank: Head Moderator they said that crediting D class for my own mistake can have RP purpose, as they were cooperating with me along the way. I also gave credits at the end of the test to reward the D class, and the Gensec for a test well done. In this scenario I am certain that I was not " Farming".

In the original sit I am unsure what I said but what is true is that I haven't witnessed the entire situation from the start, however, while I was spectating around I saw you doing a sample retrieval with around 12 empty flasks on the ground, I do not know if they were meant to be used or just for fun. But at the same time, I still witnessed you take around 5 liters of 106 samples. I have mentioned I do not know if you were taking it prior to me spectating you.

As for Red's take on how that should've been conducted what he said (And I believe that's what he meant) was when a staff member / SL member witnesses the rule break IC (He is present in the situation) then he must warn in /looc that the rule is being broken such as mixing.
At the same time, you shouldn't contact other admins without giving the full context of the situation.

When it comes to the Crediting multiple times, in the sit you have never mentioned you credited him twice due to your own mistake and getting the test longer. The only thing you mentioned was "I didn't know this rule was here as well" which let me safely assume you knew about the rule break.

Thanks for taking the time to make a ban appeal.

I do apologise for the delayed response, I was on at the same time you were banned and did also see you were going over the sample limit. You also made a ticket which I did respond to, which did not have the full context of what was going on with the sit. I am confident that Simon handled this correctly as you did break the farming rules.

So I will be denying this appeal, as you did break these rules and Simon was justified in his actions. And I will apologise for the confusion that may of been caused.
