What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
Good at combat from being in NU-7 where I helped with raiding CI and defending the foundation. As well when I was in E-11 I helped defend HCZ from raids. Furthermore well i was in E-11 I RCed SCPs many times teaching me how to effectively deal with SCPs and how to destroy them.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
I want to have a more enjoyable RP experience rather than just combat. Also I want help GOC grow more active and more fun to interact with. I also want to be able to do more wild things in research as when in the foundation it can be limiting sometimes with what you can do. Furthermore I find the idea of a GOI that acts more like people would IRL interesting and enjoyable.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
It was founded by the UN after the Seventh Occult War to defend the world from Para threats(SCPs) and rouge organizations as not only a defense but also as a peace of mind for some people in the know who know they have someone to protect humanity.
What do the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in, and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS: A part of the GOC prioritizing direct action and investigation of anomalies. Direct action is made up primarily of strike teams, their main job is capturing/destroying SCPs. And the investigation is primarily made up of assessment teams, with their job being to observe and perform reconnaissance to understand what the GOC is dealing with.
PSYCHE: The detachment of GOC is responsible for managing affairs and resolving issues with the foundation and other GOIs. Members of this division must work to maintain and uphold peace with all other forces rather than combat.
PTOLEMY: Last but not least, the detachment of the GOC that specialize in researching anomalous entities as well as researching and developing tools and weapons to aid in any way to the GOC's main goal. Also made up of Quartermasters who oversee supplying GOC outposts and facilities with proper food and armaments.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
1. Survival The main goal of the GOC is to protect humans from paranormal threats and this goal takes priority over all others.
2. Concealment The GOC also needs to hide the existence of Para threats(SCPs) a secret from the civilian population as it could cause wide panic and keep them apart to protect the Human race from Para threats(SCPs)
3. Protect The GOC will protect humans and operatives as long as this does not get in the way of the first 2 goals.
4. Destruction The GOC will destroy Para threats(SCPs) when they get the chance as their very existence is a threat.
5. Education The GOC always strives to expand their knowledge of Para threats(SCPs) but this is only after all 4 others
Please explain The Seventh Occult War:
An occult war, coinciding with the Second World War, triggered by an attempt by the SS Ahnenerbe and the Thule-Gesselschaft to take advantage of the destruction of LTE-0913-Ex-Machina to complete the Rite of Solomon. The events of this war led to the founding of the Global Occult Coalition as a safeguard against further such actions by rogue organizations.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
Most other GOIs and the SCP foundation care about SCP but the GOC use most of their manpower to protect humans and get rid of SCPs which seems like the most realistic thing to do and they don't just want to test on SCPs giving them the chance to get back outs and kill more.
