Why are you applying for Security Captain?
I enjoy the GenSec gameplay loop, despite how frustrating it could be and I genuinely believe that despite the reputation it holds, its one of the most important departments in the foundation. I am applying for Captain so that I can help further GenSec as a department, and make it the best it can possibly be. Furthermore, several Captains and a CoS have asked me to apply for the role.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?
My tenure as GSD Sergeant helped me in demonstrating my ability to lead my comrades at dire times when my CO, be it Captain or Chief are not available, as well as being able to efficiently communicate with other departments during these times. I have shadowed several license tryouts and assisted the Captains in performing them, and I have lead several sweeps with Captain supervision and without Captain supervision (although still overseen by a CL4 superior from ISD). I am also pretty active and would likely be on during off hours.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
Supervising GenSec activity in D-Block, assisting new recruits in performing their duties, ensuring the safety of D-Class Personnel and their proper extraction during tests, taking control of D-Block during riots and organizing sweeps, hosting tryouts for the HWL and RRT, creating departmental paperwork, and ensuring the safety of the LCZ.

Foreword:
Grace, also known by her codename of "Sanguine", was a member of the MTF Lambda-12 ("Pest Control") as a Non-commissioned officer, helping her unit in the tracking, containing, and extermination of anomalous vermin, often being sent as a first-response team to track and contain anomalous organisms in general. Her tenure on Site-██ shows her to be an excellent combatant and someone who knows how to take charge as the situation demands it.
Her transfer to Site65 was the result of her entire Squadron being wiped out in a mission to extract and contain SCP-████. Grace was found lying on a field out in Strasbourg, France, approximately 5 km from where the initial incident took place. All instances of SCP-████ were terminated by an Emergency Response Team that responded to her CO's distress call.
While Grace has shown an incredible amount of resilience after the incident has taken place, it is clear that it left a scar on her psyche, and she asked to be transferred over to Site65. She has received amnestication to expunge her memory of Site-██'s secrets, ensuring that she does not infobreach. However, she still remembers what happened that day, her tenure at Site-██, and the reason why she is loyal to the foundation. She intentionally requested to transfer to General Security, believing her expertise to be of use in that department, hoping that she would be offered a little more peace, despite knowing internally that she will never achieve that goal.
