Submission Rules
- Do not over-do the coloring on your post! Excessive use of colors and font changes will make your submission very difficult to read! Also avoid giant walls of text. Utilize paragraphs
- Do not dupe other submissions! If your lore submission is a duplicate or excessively similar to another story, it will be denied. Your submission may add onto another's story, but should not contradict it.
- Do not mention other community names! You should not be mentioning other Garry's Mod servers in your submission.
- Absolutely no 18+/NSFW content of any kind! This includes any content that is suggestive in nature, even if you're referencing actual SCP Wiki articles.
- Ensure your submission has proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation! It is important that we're able to read your submission!
- Put effort into your submission! While we won't be demanding specific word counts, you should be spending a great deal of time on your lore submission! Don't just copy the SCP Wiki, use your imagination! Be original and go in-depth. You shouldn't be cranking out an entire submission in only 15-20 minutes.
- Sensitive Topics! Any topic that can be considered sensitive MUST be marked with a "Sensitive Topic" tag, furthermore all topics must be handled respectfully, we reserve the right to remove any offending content without warning.
PAC Approval
Character bio posts may be PAC Approved by Server Leadership, this is a way for you to have a PAC design that is not usually allowed to be approved for use in-game with your character. The purpose of this approval system is to give you the chance to justify the cosmetic features of your character through expanded lore and a well thought out idea, if you wish to request a PAC approval, you must submit your lore thread with the PAC Request prefix and list what you are looking to have approved.
If your post is PAC Approved, you'll be able to link staff to your character post if you are questioned on the use of your PAC design in-game.
Criteria for potential PAC Approval:
- Your PAC must be feasible for the SCP universe. If your PAC request seems low-effort and not in line with what would be reasonable within the SCP Universe, it may be denied. An example of something that wouldn't be in line with the SCP Universe is you trying to justify a PAC that looks like a famous show character or movie character.
- PACs which overtly put you into an NSFW/suggestive/other category which would not be appropriate for minors are not permitted. Examples are: PACs that have to do with groups or communities not deemed appropriate for children.
- PACs must be creative in nature! You should spend time on your PAC, don't just throw something together last minute.
- PACs must look unique from our job models! Don't make your PAC look too much like another job's model.
- PACs must follow the Server Rules
- PACs requests must follow the template. You must have the below template placed within their lore so Server Leadership can clearly understand what is being asked for.
