[Add: Gun Storage Rack/Crate just like ones for storing keycards.]

[B]Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):[/B]
[Allows storing of weapons that are dropped but not holsterable. 
Let's regiments have access to better guns temporarily.
Also lets MTF flag off and store a good gun they have,
 meaning no more perma AFK MTF (which allows CI raids constantly) just because they grabbed a good gun.]

[People could possibly farm eachother to drop good guns and keep them for later use.
 This can also cause people to farm/sell guns.]

[B]Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:[/B]
[I believe this is very useful, because this allows regiments to store weapons just like keycards. 
For example, Nu7 kill a CI in combat, and get a PKM, they can store it for later, 
or a CI kill AO and get a QBZ/ASH12/MCX. 
I also believe this is a totally reasonable request as the guns will dissapear 
after server crashes/restarts so it can't really be abused. Thanks!]

Counterpoint: Rewrite armouries to let us store these captured weapons in. Basically, the standard armoury stuff you can get right now (goggles, scarmbles, the current weapons in them) would have unlimited stock - Then weapons you capture from enemies, you can add to the armoury, and each addition increases the stock of that weapon by 1. Removing that weapon decreases the stock by 1.

Even though this would require a significant rewrite of an existing thing, it would give exactly what you want without having to add new things to the map. It would be more efficient in this way.

Either way, it carries a negative of factions being potentially able to farm their own weapons to distribute throughout their forces?

Sure they can do it right now, however they have limited amount and if they die while holding the weapon they lose it forever, but if they a gun rack they can essentially have an opportunity to store multiple better weapons and can have a near unlimited supply of it, even if they die they can get another and what stops mtf from asking other mtf for a quick supply run for their weaponry during low pop hours where there is little to no staff on. No offense, man, but I really don't want to see 4 e11 having a Barrett m98b that NU7 Marksmen have

This suggestion is a foundation buff with extra step, and I don't see any long-term benefits for CI or GOC from it getting accepted.

Nothing burger... Literally nothing changes... I can put guns in CO office and they will stay there until server restart, this just makes things neater and depending on how its implemented can make things MORE secure, e.g. Regimental overide needed or cl4 needed. Furthermore why would AO or any MTF randomly supply GSD with guns. And E-11 having barrets isnt really an issue...

the same logic can be appiled to keycard holders though? you can just kill someone with a cl4 over and over and just supply it to other people right? so what makes keycard holders different?
