- yes, I have had 1 ban , and 17 warnings , from 2023 around august time, at the time I was new still understanding the server and how it worked; I admit some of them are stupid things and I should have known better, however since then I haven't received any warns, and i am dedicated to following the rules so that everyone including myself can enjoy the RP of the server and better it.
Why are you applying for Security Captain?
- I want to apply for captain so I can make a difference within the GSD. Gensec often have a bad reputation for breaking rules and being not serious, this is a big concern of mine and I want to better the reputation and quality of gensec; I believe captain can help me achieve this as it allows me to hold more authority over those below me, being able to reprimand and punish those who are messing around, as a result they can learn and become better members of the community and ensure that gensec fulfil their duties to the fullest.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
- I have experience from being a GSD sergeant, taking the place of a captain when none are available, such as performing sweeps , organising gensec and assigning POIs as well as guiding those under me , explaining how things work and what to do. My work as sergeant has allowed me to understand and get used to some of the duties that a captain may have, I believe this is an advantage as I can already fit into the role of Captain fairly fast and perform the duties more effectively; Furthermore my time on the site has allowed me to understand the roles of GSD and other departments, allowing me to work together and easily overcome challenges utilising teamwork. In my time as MTF and CI i have picked up many skills such as communication, despite my lack of mic. I have led many raids and sweeps with often times amazing results . I have also picked up on how to deal with those who misbehave and do not follow orders, for example speaking to them and instructing them on how to become a better part of the team and in more extreme cases being able to dish out punishments or arrests; For these reasons i believe i am suitable for the role of captain.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
- Ensure that gensec are properly performing duties.
- Lead sweeps on dblock
- teach and guide newer members of GSD
- defend dblock and those within it.
- create documents and reports on gensec activities and operations.
- give out work permits to dclass
- regular CL4 duties such as opening or closing BDs.
- Punishing those who are not performing up to par.
- Listening to all orders from the chief of security.
- Assist Chief of security in their duties.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in: Jimothy smith grew up in a war torn nation, fending for his right to live every day; it was due to these conditions and will to fight against those that opposed his country he joined the army, graduating boot camp with flying colours. Jimothy faced intense and dangerous battles, surviving against all odds, racking up his kills and experience, he was recruited into the SAS. It was in the SAS where he gained real recognition going up the ranks eventually facing off against an unknown creature in afghanistan, managing to terminate it; It was from there that the SCP foundation reached out and offered Jimothy smith a job as a member of the GSD, Smiths will to protect those he loved and his country accepted this deal, curious as to what he would be facing; a NEW challenge.
