First and foremost don't just Accept/Deny this with no actual affirmation or confirmation to the Military Roleplay community that you can commit yourselves to them and prove that you can dedicate resources to them. Server Leadership, please add the Network Leadership tag as it's not an option for me and I'll remove the [ ] text. Thanks <3
What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Closes the Military Roleplay servers until Network Leadership have the availability, dedication and motivation to care for the server. I'm gonna be as detailed as I can purely because I know the whole narrative of 'oh its just old players wanting the server closed'.Right now, as respectfully as I can put it yes I know MRP doesn't make money however the money MRP does make is literally just Server Leadership, High Command, Commissioned Officers and basically just players lining Ventz pocket with 0 return for Military Roleplay. I don't quite think you realise how damaged the relations are between SCP an MRP purely out of spite and jealousy over the care and commitment that Network Leadership and Ventz put into them comparitively.
You have players that have been around for years, a server that's been strong for half a decade coming this August yet receive no attention. Some fun stats.
We'll keep it recent.
In the last 12 months, Ventz has sent 5 messages to the entirety of the MRP Discord. One of these was a Sale announcement, the other was a single changelog for a Cross Network fix for TS3 Donator Channels of which @Jacub did anyways.

Compare this to the mind blowing nearly 1000 messages he's sent in the last 12 months to SCP (where this is only out of the channels I can actually see).
It's not fair comparing Changelogs however I will mention them. Since 2025 started, SCP has 5x the amount of Changelogs that MRP has.
I don't think it's fair on the players, your current server leadership team and your current staff team to be as lob sided to one server. Yes it makes money, however even when CC and DarkRP had their 16.0 reworks or whatever it was, you still cared. Why is MRP any different? Are you embarrased? Are you stuck for ideas despite the fact there's nearly 100 unfinished issues on the gitlabs, some going nearly 4 years old? Content meant for MRP, on the tracker for MONTHS added to SCP before MRP despite the fact that it fits the narrative for MRP more? This isn't cope, the whole VNPCs was talked about 3 years ago or so. Even longer than that, the argument that there's "Nothing to do in peacetime" just completely gets undermined when your Network Leadership reply "There's nothing we can add", just to then go and add NPCs and all this other content to SCP. This would have fixed peacetimes, random triggering convoys both sides can attack, random helicopters crashing etc. This was ALL on the gitlabs, not new ideas or anything, just to then be insulted and for current content that SCP doesn't lack of "CI AI Operatives"?
I want to reiterate, we do NOT care for the amount of content that SCP gets. We respect the fact that it makes a fuck tonne of money and in a business, that's what you chase - we're not arguing that. But there's 0 community engagement from the Owner of the server, 0 engagement from Owner to Sever Leadership. This isn't a new concept, I think you've got too comfortable with Server Leadership being competent enough to run the communtiy for you and coming up with excuses to push the blame onto things such as too much dev time and resources, we ran out of ideas etc.
Civil Gamers swapped the name granted becuase it opened as an LLC however you can't claim you're a Network when you run one server whilst Auburn, Server Leadership and HC carry the weight of the other. Exams ended, the servers still dead. Pull your fingers out, accept responsibility and take pride knowing you still have a community full of commited people that have been here for years and that are willing to take a chance on you trying for MRP again. CC and DarkRP had nowhere near the level of commitment that MRP players have for the server.
Either accept responsibility, take the initiative to help out MRP and to engage with the players as though you're not embarrased of them and that they're actually members of your community or stop kicking the dead horse, stop making server leadership and these amazing high command members and commissioned officers run your server with no goals to help them out and close the server.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:
No
Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):

You have 41 people and 0 people disagreeing that you should at least put the server on hold and acknowledge what's going on. It's not fair on them.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
People will have to either wait to resume playing MRP or live with the fact that it's over for MRP.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
It's what the players want. The narrative of 'old players wanting the server shut down' when you have High Command new and old +supporting what I wrote, old Super Admins and Senior Admins coming together, current staff members, current colonels. You've lost the support of the server that kick started SCP. Gain it back please, I like MRP and truthfully I don't want it to shut down. I've got lots of great memories, but it needs dealing with.
Finally, for the people coming across reading this from SCP Players POV.
I'm not asking that we take your allocation of resources and development time or anything like that. But you need to see from the MRP point of view, we don't hate or dislike you guys or anything. We're just simply jealous of the community engagement you guys receive from the owner and the overall way we're treated. There's been 0 acknowledgement from Ventz, 0 discussion with current SL other than 1x message that was put out (nothing happened after that). Messages from current Server Leadership have gone over head saying that they NEED help and from current High Command (equivelant of probably your O-1 and CI Leaders) from BOTH sides jointly asking for help just for it to gone amiss.
Feel free to leave your opinions below, thanks for reading this all and I genuinely hope for the best outcome in that we get some love from Ventz.
Thanks.
