So, i don't often play video games and i just got Garry's Mod and wanted to test this server out and it's "SCP RP" concept. I got muted for 3 days because i told people to go outside when i first joined and i have bunch of questions i need them to be answered genuinely.

1- I want to know the hype behind this server, why do people spend a lot of time on these type of servers (i saw there are tons of other concepts)?

2- Why do you guys get trolled so often? Why there are a lot of people getting banned from this community for trolling? You guys for some reason attract a lot of them.

3- Staff members, do they warn people for the slightest things? Can they take jokes (not racist jokes etc btw)?

1 - It has a lot of custom content, although some models are re-used the SCP system used on the server was entirely coded from the ground up based on our Military Roleplay's VWAR system.

2 - Garry's Mod in general tends to have a fair few trolls, normally individuals sometimes people joining in groups from one time to another; the SCP-RP server also takes roleplay very seriously, and does crack-down on any non-roleplay friendly behaviour.

3 - As with everything it depends on context and content: as I said above the SCP Staff team very purposefully do target 'NRP' behaviour and are encouraged to crackdown on it to ensure the server has strict roleplay, so those sort of behaviours may be more strictly enforced than others, however at the end of the day they're people, and I can more than certainly say if you get to know them you'll be able to joke around with them as friends.

Ultimately most of us are just here to have fun, a select few are here because they have nothing better to do than try to make trouble on a video game server - you may have noticed a couple of them posted on this thread and have since had their posts deleted.

I don't have anything else to add to what Bogdan said, his response is fairly well-rounded.

I have also seen people getting muted for fairly respectable and reasonable reasons but there are people who are muted that are allowed to create threads, talk in threads and able to react with emojis... When i was talking with a guy my messages were getting spammed with emojis... His or Her discord username started with Z i think... Why aren't people like him getting kicked or banned for a fairly reasonable time?

1- This server has done what many other servers haven't and that's made an effective and enjoyable experience no matter what rank you are, you can riot as Class-D, Protect as a Security Guard, Raid as an C.I. Whereas other servers primarily just focus on some roles and others you have no actual duty, or there is nothing to do in general.

2- Since this server is extremely popular, it's only natural to attract 'attention-seeking' trolls.

3- To my experience, staff only warn people when they are in violation in accordance to the rules, sometimes they will be lenient when they can be ( verbal warnings ). Warnings aren't the end of the world, as most people learn and move on, so unless you are purposely breaking rules and somehow get 3 warnings in a day. The staff want you to enjoy the server as much as everyone else, and rule breaking can lead to conflict which leads to an overall bad experience for everyone.
