Why are you applying for Executive Researcher? The more in depth I got with researching the more I grew to love it. Spreading lore to new people on the server and some people that have been here longer than me is amazing. I have been working closely recently with the Execs and the Director and have been reshaping the way research is done. The goal is to make research fun, yet mature and professional for all parties participating in the test. I feel like with this next step into researching I can help make those goals more of a possibility. I also feel that I will be able to help more as an Exec. by being one of the first steps they go to in the COC. I have always held out my hand and offered it to anyone that was in need of it. The simple fact that I could help make such good changes to the research department is the main reason I want this position.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?: I have always been one to take the initiative. Before speaking with the Director, I was hosting lectures and helping all research personnel that needed help. I have recently joined the Board of Education and have furthered my helping hand to almost every researcher I have seen. Like I stated before my goal is to make research fun, and exciting, and immersive for everyone. With the help that I have been giving lately I have noticed a major change in testing, not only from the researchers but from Gensec and d-class too. All changes I have seen are positive and are making it seem like all parties want to do research.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent? I believe I only have 2 excellent graded docs. The major things of a good doc are formatting, attentiveness to details, and the overall structure of the test. The more attention to details and the more information about the test and how it will help the foundation make the document climb in its grading.
-
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?: Authorizing tests within their level, grading documents that researchers have posted, helping new and experienced researchers better their tests. When time calls for it deal with disciplinary actions within the research team. Assisting CL3 with CL4 tests as well

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in: It was a rainy morning when Maverick was making his drive to Site 65. He rolled out of bed that morning thinking how was his life so boring, going back to Site 65 just to put on the same Gensec uniform to pull out D-Class personnel for testing, repeat and go home. He knew little about what hid behind the containment chamber doors, but yet he still knew it would be better than this. So like every morning, Maverick parks his car, goes to security wing, and gets suited up like usual. Today was different though. His friend know as Dr.Brown had been watching Maverick for a while. He noticed his dedication to the foundation and to his colleges. Dr.Brown knew Maverick wanted to do more and today would be the day Dr.Brown would make that happen. Maverick was on his way to D-Block, coffee in hand from SCP-294, ready to start his day. Dr. Brown pulled Maverick to the side and asked if he had a minute to talk. Maverick knowing he was still a little early for his shift agreed. Dr.Brown told Maverick that a spot in research opened up and it was his if he wanted it. Dr.Brown explained to Maverick that he had seen his test scores and wondered why he was Security in the first place. Maverick sat and pondered for a minute, acting like this wasn't something he had been hoping for the entire time. Maverick nodded his head in agreement and quietly said "I will accept." Dr.Brown then told Maverick he had already spoken with the Director of Research and the Chief of Security and to go put on the appropriate attire for researchers. Once fitted with the long white lab coat and tie, Dr.Brown informed Maverick he would have to start at the same place of everyone else. Maverick understood what Dr.Brown was saying immediately. Maverick turned over his level 3 key card in exchange for a level one. He was officially a Jr. Researcher. Maverick, from that day on, started waking up more happy. Just the fact of knowing that his research was going to help was enough to keep him motivated. For several months Maverick worked with Clearance Level 1 SPCs, studying them, documenting them, and testing them, and he couldn't be more happy. As a few more months went by Maverick was pulled into the Director of Researcher's office and told he was getting moved to a higher security clearance. Finally, Maverick thought, he can work on c2 SPCs and go down to heavy containment. Maverick kept doing what he was best at, testing and documenting the SCPs. One day though, something caught his eye. Peaked his interest to the fullest. He watched someone take SCP-173 to SCP-914. "A cross test?" he thought to himself, "I didn't know we could cross test the SCPs." His interest with research grew stronger, to the point where he would stay up at night and think of cross test to do when he got back to the foundation. Maverick was very shy when he first started cross testing, only doing safe-safe cross tests. For some reason however, when he received another higher security clearance, his shyness and nervousness went out of the window. Maverick was always looking for things to cross test, as a matter of fact, that's the only thing he did anymore. The one SCP that Maverick liked to test the most with however was SCP-999. Something about a world full of hate being turned by this happy orange goo intrigued him. Maybe it was because of the anomalous effects of 999 or if the drastic changes with other SCPs, but Maverick couldn't get enough. Maverick presented several documents regarding his studies to the executive researchers and all of his test were amazing in their eyes. Maverick started taking newer researchers and showing them the proper testing procedures and ensured they were getting done properly. This caught eye of the Director of Research. He pulled Maverick to the side and asked if he liked training new researchers. Maverick responded with "Of course, I was once in their shoes and they needed help. I honestly enjoy it almost as much as I enjoy testing." This pleased the Director and Maverick was later asked if the wanted a spot on the Board of Education. Maverick excitedly accepted this position. Maverick would keep training new researchers until the day he had been waiting for the most came. Maverick was once again pulled into the Director of Researcher's office and asked if he wanted an executive researcher position. Maverick could hardly believe it. all of his hard work and cross testing finally paid off. Maverick eagerly accepted knowing that his researching career was just getting started.
