What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I am applying for Committee Chairman
The position of the Ethics Committee Chairman is one I wish to take up, to bring my ideas to light.
In the two years I have been on Civil, I have seen many highs and lows, many leaders, those who are good and bad. I've been in many arguments, and just as many meetings. I have held a wide variety of positions, and formerly held a Sr CL5 position twice, that being CI Commander. My time there, and my time in other departments, regiments, and now my time within Ethics has given me many ideas for things to offer to the Site, and the Server. By taking up ECC, I would be in the position to best communicate with the playerbase, and do what I think will be best, of course, all while consulting the Committee I appoint, and delegate to different tasks.
Creation of RP for everybody, including myself, because it is something that I love, is the ultimate goal.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I don't believe I will be the best ECC to ever hold the position, but I am going to try to compile my experiences, which I heavily outline in my ECM Application and my position as a Senior Gamemaster into full effect to create something refreshing, and make Ethics something that is feared in a respectful matter by the site.
Additionally, I believe I hold strong or positive OOC relations and standing with most Departments, and especially Omega-1, which is important to be an effective leader to them.

Chaos Insurgency Experience -
My time in the Chaos Insurgency has spanned almost the full 2 years I have been in the CN Community. This experience has given me a Point of View that most don't have, as I spent my entire time in CI trying to do what would be best for the faction while keeping the Roleplay and health of the whole server in mind. I have learned to work with everybody, and have always upheld strong OOC relations with all departments, regiments, and factions. Along with that I have upheld strong IC relations with the UNGOC, throughout half a dozen Generals for a majority of my time in Regimental Command.
I think I have been able to defeat the stereotype that CI only wants to RDM legally, and I know that I have made the necessary progress to bring RP to and from CI, which has never been an easy task.
Along with that, I was in charge of an entire faction which has stretched me thin at times, but was a lesson in management which is a very important skill to being a Clearance 5.
Ethics Committee Assistant & Omega-1 Experience -
I have spent a lot of time around the Ethics Committee, while this experience was all from my first tenure at Civil Networks, which was a long time ago, a lot of what I learned was very important lessons on what can be done well to the benefit of the subordinates of The Ethics Committee, and these learnings will allow me to prevent mistakes from occurring, and know when to listen to rectify mistakes that I may have made as a leader.
Additionally, it gives me ideas of what orders, or Roleplay I can provide so that they have the best possible experience they can with me.
Alpha-1 Experience -
I have experience from the other side of things, this allows me to make decisions to avoid OOC tensions, and hopefully maintain a level of respect between Omega-1 and Alpha-1 on an OOC level. In terms of IC tensions, I will have an easier time understanding how to keep things between completely boring and completely out of control to maintain balance.
DEA & Executive Researcher Experience -
These roles have given me baseline Junior CL4 experience within Foundation and I believe I made good usage of both of these roles as a leader and as a departmental CL4.
My time as an Executive, I was heavily involved with the Directors of Research at the time to develop new policies, and the concept of a cross-testing policy which was later put in place by the Ethics Committee, and is still used today. As a Special Agent, I did not do much directly for DEA, however, I used my position to better understand DEA and SOP as a whole and make decisions as a CI Commander that would be beneficial to everybodu.
I have been the leader of the Board of Education, and I was a Junior Officer within BORTAC a very long time ago. Understanding sub-divisions and what makes them run well, along with knowing when one is needed and what it is needed for is important. While most sub-divisions are not run by Ethics, but rather by SA, as an EC Departmental representative, I would be able to give constructive opinions and criticisms on the topics

Rowling's Plan!
Phase One - Selection & Unification of a New Committee
With the resignation of not one, but two! Ethics Committee Members, I plan to review the presented applicants to the best of my ability and alongside the remaining ECM to make the choices best suited for the health of the server and player base on OOC and IC requirements.
Some requirements would be;
Who can create the best RP for the server as Ethics?
Who will be most fit for the position in terms of experience and competence?
Who can offer the best perspectives on issues, and who can see things from more than one POV when handling an issue?
Who will represent a good face to the Committee and uphold a good image?
Who can best lead Omega-1 and be best entrusted with giving them orders?
I would search for the candidate with the best mixture of the listed traits, and more, with no singular trait being the deciding factor for acceptance or denial.
After and during the selection of the new Committee, I will be removing the position of Ethics Committee Vice Chairman, as I do not see it as a necessary position.
I will also be pushing for the Committee to get together for a meeting at least once every other week to create a more structured process for Committee decisions.
Phase Two - Omega-1 & ECAs
This part of the plan would involve working with Regimental Command to see to what changes they would be interested in seeing come from the Committee, and myself as Chairman, as well as doing my best to work with the CO team to improve the regiment further, by assisting in approving, and creating new policies around O-1 between The Committee, and for general protocol.
I will also push for the redaction of Omega-1 and their presence on site to be represented as a more secretive MTF.
In regard to Assistants, I plan to rework the EC Assistant Coordinator position to be something different, and more impactful/meaningful as it is not currently utilized.
I will work on getting more frequent and RP Impactful orders regularly put out for ECAs
Reworking the way Sub-Committees are decided to become more selective of the individual's wants and interests
Reworking ECA Requirements to be more variable
Phase Three - The Site
This phase will revolve around a variety of making changes, and working with (and perhaps against) departments to best implement those changes around the entire site to improve RP in a variety of ways that represent the Committee's goals while also still remaining good for the server and avoiding change at others expense to keep it enjoyable for as many players as possible.
This would be done both through passive and direct means, creating GM Objectives, Decals, and Perma Props, to put around the site to create more of a desired atmosphere for the way I want to take EC, and creating RP with members of the Site to enhance their experiences in an impactful and memorable way.
Changing, Removal, and Addition of policies surrounding the CoE, and within the CoE to better fit the current server environment, for example, making CoE factors around the usage of SCP Brainwashing, and the deployments of Nu-7 Jugs on Class D. Exact developments of the CoE itself will come with time, of course.
Note: These 3 phases are not exact, but represent the baseline idea of some of the things I hope to accomplish.
