What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Make it so there are actual name fields to change your name within your F4 character tab rather than one large text field that lets you put anything. I've made a little diagram to show the fields and respective options for a dropdown menu (The display type field) for how this would look.
Instead of this:

Each display type dropdown option would show your inputs within the fields instead of things like "First & Last". So for example, my Ethics Chairman character would show the following display types in a dropdown:
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
- Significantly easier for new players to follow the naming con rule.
- Having the system guide you to make sure your name is appropriate will make staff lives easier on enforcing naming con.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- None!
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
Time and time again SL and NL inform staff to enforce naming convention more. Having it so the vwar framework itself supports the names that we're looking for, would make it so people are naturally more inclined to follow such a basic rule without having to pull as many people from roleplay to tell them to change their name.
