In what world do they need a rule to stop dclass from breaching 008

how the heck does this ever come into play? And it’s very limiting as a d-class should be able to do so, just having it banned in ALL cases is sad.

It was already a rule, it fell under FailRP and FearRP. People would argue it so it ended up getting its own special rule.

Ok but what about failed testing? If a dclass gets let out as 008 isn’t it still failrp cuz it’s technically breaching it

Nope. That's just a research test gone wrong.

Rules are built to make the server more fun. The reason it doesn't come into play currently is because, well, it's not allowed. Of course it's never going to come into play. Now, if it were allowed, it'd have a low success rate. But, that wouldn't matter, because then D-Class riots would prioritize learning about 008 IC and breaching it. Suddenly, you'd have 008 breaches every couple days due to D-Class.

It'd also remove what's special about 008 to remove that rule. It's so rare right now, that when it DOES happen, it's actually scary. Imagine if this rule was changed. SCP-008 breaches would go from something everyone respected due to how rare it happens, to hating it. 008 would almost certainly get nerfs, which I think would kind of suck.
