What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
Allow ISD / EC to obtain a person's identification through Bodycamera footage except for CI DCs & Classified such as O5 who can only be seen as Site Inspectors.
Example: Researcher obtains footage of crime, but only ISD/ EC personnel can actually use technology to identify the person in the camera footage.
Has something similar been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion different?:

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
+ Less people avoiding the Arrest RP of ISD. Actual consequences for being caught on bodycamera rather than being told that you need a keycard to do anything against the person in the bodycamera.
+ If you can get someone's identity on a cctv camera, you should be able to use the same technology with a bodycamera.
+ Makes it important that you get rid of witnesses when you commit crimes.
+ Makes it so that you don't have to watch ISD do nothing as they can't do anything with bodycamera footage that has no identification in it.
Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
- Angry people believing ISD arrests causes people to leave the server. (PS: Were not)
- Lot harder to go against the Ethics Committee.
Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
ISD & EC become a much stronger force in the foundation, and reduce the bureaucratic corruption roleplay that's annoying a lot of departments lately!
More serious on this note, big complaint about what causes server inactivity especially in the departments like RSD who don't like getting involved in burueacracy roleplay and just want to focus on research roleplay. The amount of burueacracy roleplay especially in the UK servers has become too annoying, and before anyone mentions it. In the UK servers from what I know, it doesn't even involve EC/ISD most of the time, so don't say we encourage it.
Also like, people constantly question why you can't just identify them by their appearance in roleplay, and we have to /LOOC, we can't use appearance to identify someone. And they still IC argue that we should be able to recognise someone, but in roleplay we have the memory of a goldfish or something when it comes to people's faces.
I do hope that this gets approved in some way, like heavily restrict it if you wish. But the fact we can't arrest someone with solid evidence because we don't have a keycard on bodycamera yet we can identify someone on a cctv camera who wears a full face-covered helmet is weird.
