What does this suggestion change/add/remove:
[So during the pre-war and peacetime today, there was an issue with CSB coming back (they would die, then come back non-stop, meaning we couldn't even leave base due to ROE, pulling out vests to insta-boom) My suggestion is to either prevent said spam returning, or to add more onto CSB, so they are less obliged to ONLY KIDNAP (which is honestly terrible RP, kidnap simulator)]

Possible Positives of the suggestion (At least 2):
[CSB would have more to do rather than just kidnapping, adding roleplay situations. Would mean CSB wouldn't be seen as a "shoot first ask questions later" type team from the military sides]

Possible Negatives of the suggestion:
[some of the CSB may complain that they cant kidnap spam, or that they are encouraged to do other things.]

Based on the Positives & Negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted:
[Again, would add more roleplay. I can say with confidence that CSB just feels like a minge team; Truck? shoot/blow it up for no reason. person? Suicide vest them because you pulled a gun first and couldn't FEARRP normally so you can be shot via ROE. (i know this suggestion will get mixed reviews, my main standpoint is that CSB feels like an excuse to grief, NOT roleplay half the time)]

nono they are following the 20min rule, its just how they kept coming back to the same base (to kidnap a different person again and again). we didnt have gates open either for a reason of target.

Actually, that entire incident broke two rules i just realized. Someone got kidnapped from within the signs range (counts as base kidnapping), aswell as them camping our base closely (Now i wish i clipped that via medal)

Like I said if you can hit me up with proof Ill deal with it dw. But adding more shit so we dont just do kidnap rp would be pretty lit

CSB are allowed to base kidnap anyone in their base as long as they are provided with necessary permissions

CSB are also allowed to come back after dying considering the factor that a team (nato/nwo) usually have around 15-25 people during peacetime and the ability to just lock the base simply leaving them outside and the fact that if any CSB is seen with weapons outside of their hideout is KOS

If the CSB is just coming in base bombing people and not contributing for any RP that is something you should call a sit about as thats just rule break

CSB already REQUIRES to have an "RP reason" to engage with activities such as kidnapping and stealing stuff, if they just come up in base and dont say anything and start kidnapping thats a rule break on which you should call a sit

And lastly im sure that CSB are not allowed to kidnap/attempt to kidnap the same person over and over again, thus making that another rule break

With the part about kidnapping needing a reason, the reason would 99% of the time be them getting supplies or money, which is an RP reason.

It does not state anywhere in the MOTD that CSB may bypass rule 2.11 (general roleplay rule)

Also CSB are only KOS if they have a gun out (in their hand) meaning they simply bypass this by pulling out their vest, and they ignore FEARRP cause they just sit in their trucks that can eat multiple AT4 hits somehow. (they have one wait in a truck, if the others get kidnapped, they just RPG/suicide vest everyone as a whole)

CSB has a bypass on rule 2.11, yes. It doesn't need a specification since its a mostly terrorist group and if it had not that bypass, it would have been specified in CSB rules once SL and CSB leaders were discussing the restrictions, which it wasnt

And suicide vest is a weapon, and because everyone in the voice proximity range is automatically in fear rp, doesn't mean that someone else cant shoot them.

And the truck hp is indeed an issue, those trucks have 3k hp or something and should not be able to eat more than 2-3 at4 hits. I think this issue goes down to some kind of dev work that needs to done

I was present during any CSB activity today, I can assure you that everything that I lead CSB in doing always has a benefit towards RP and the server as a whole.

In regards to CSB coming back when dying this just simply did not happen. We had an RP scenario where we declared war on NATO and we were using our vehicles to shoot at the walls of NATO base we RTBed once to repair our cars. It was not an RDM fest as I warned all the CSB members active to ensure that they were only shooting at the walls or anyone that fired explosives at our cars.

We kidnapped a few people but never sold them for anything over 10k as I understand how annoying being kidnapped is. We but a briefcase bomb next to two NATO hostages outside NATO base and asked for 10k for the two of them (miles below the minimum) otherwise they would die. I made no attempt to benefit off of kidnapping them as the 10k would go to a random CSB member.

Just to finish off what I have said, since I have been CSB leader I have only been part of around 4 - 5 kidnapping and in none of those kidnappings have I ever tried to benefit from it personally. Leaders of any faction are expected to have the playerbase and the servers health in mind with any action that they take, due to the nature of a terrorist faction kidnapping has to happen for us to be able to make money. To counteract how annoying getting kidnapped is I have told CSB members to not steal HIMARS' or SCUDs as it provides no benefit to us and just annoys a faction.

If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to contact me on Discord (Mike the Jewish Person#2065)
