What will you do to stop this from happening again: I will not engage in any interactions during breaches and will head straight to the breach shelter. I understand from speaking with the staff member who banned me that although I was stuck between a rock and a hard place I should've attempted every possible effort to escape instead of holding my ground with a beam and waiting for help / orders from a combative.
Why should you be unbanned: Honestly the hand I was delt during this situation was a bit shitty I won't lie however I won't hide behind it as an excuse. I was trapped in ez due to fls being on while 682 was breached and actively trying to escape / kill me. I couldn't flee to the breach shelter as he was perusing me from the bulk and after he got through I was informed that a techie had fixed the bulk and it was now closed. During the time of this breach there were only 3 combative's who should've been responding to the breach however only two showed up. I should've hid quietly in a corner until the breach was up. I was informed that 079 and 682 were breached so I was worried that 966 (who was also breached) would come from behind me and I would get cornered . Instead of hiding I chose to position myself on the ez escalators so that no matter where I was pushed from I had somewhere to run away to. I was with another chef who was being combative and encouraged me to push 682 with beams as he was beam able. I told him I wouldn't and I'd stay back and "hold my line" as I'm aware of my previous warns for frp and being combative. He pushed 682 regardless of me saying no and died. 682 then pushed out to try and get me also so I charged my beam in order to deter him. I could've rushed after him and re contained him however I did not want to as I know that I cannot be combative so instead I ran back down ez escalators and continued giving comms to the combatives.
Overall I know that I should've played the situation differently however I also believe that if this were real life I would've been in the same situation. I have the means to contain him while also maintaining the perfect position to run away from any other dangers. The staff member who was dealing with my ticket also said it is a gray area considering I was trapped and couldn't leave ez. Overall I would say that in my personal opinion although I could've played the situation better after being told by staff I thought that the position I put myself in was the best situation in order to keep myself alive at the time.
