Simple change that makes arresting simpler

ISD should be telling you why you are arrested, if not you can request them to elaborate on the reason/have someone check the reason

Sometimes isd flat out won’t tell you and you can’t ask in character because your comms are taken In character

I dont understand how it could hurt. On most servers it shows arrest reason and time but CN doesn’t even tho its pretty simple to add

I’m not saying you can’t do those things but it’s much easier just to look at your screen to see immediately rather that making pointless tickets or asking in ooc with no response

Don't know why "there's no need to make devs to do extra work" is a point that's that's being made - there's a project board for a reason. I doubt this will ever be implemented, but nonetheless, it'd be useful.

Again it’s a simple thing that does not take much time to add, I ask you what if the isd agent does not respond or what if you don’t know who arrested you? Your argument of “not getting arrested” is a bit dumb. There is an entire department based off arresting people (not only thing isd does). At least when I play as ISD I see lots of ISD forgetting the policy and I am the one that tells them. It’s just a nice feature that can’t hurt almost all content suggestions will require dev time including this one. This one is just really simple because the arresting agent already stores that data.

Also sure yeah I get arrested sometimes but I’m taking this from perspective of arresting other people. Whenever I arrest someone I do my best to explain the charge and what they did. There is always going to be low ranks getting arrested and being confused because they didn’t know they can’t do that. You can get arrested for a wide range of things and if you just drag a new player in without telling them the charge ( like I see a lot from agents,operatives and investigators ) they will never know what they did. Sure you can ask in ooc but there is no guarantee for a response. Sure you can call staff but it would be a lot easier if you didn’t have to.. instead you could look at bottom of screen and see what you did wrong along with your time.

if isd fail to lecture somebody about what they did and why they are being arrested then that should be an issue brought to a managing position within the department

rather than trying to change things out of character, deal with them in character instead??
