Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?
In my whole time playing on Civilnetworks I have accumulated 1 warning and 1 ban. The ban was in 2023 and was due to some words that should not have been said, which if you would like more clarity I can discuss privately. My other warning is for Inapp Con back in january of this year. Although these two items reflect badly on myself, I can promise you that my time in RSD has changed me and has given me more of a professional standpoint, not only while playing research but as a player.
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I am applying for executive researcher as I am on researcher 9/10 times, especially with the recent addition of the trusted program. I believe along with this, I am also active a lot more during times the no executives are available to flag on, such as early morning weekdays. Another key reason that I'm wanting to join the executive team is because as I have voiced to Toast, Janice, and Mason, I feel like leadership should be more involved in the Jr researcher recruitment/trainings. Alot of times when a brand-new researcher joins the team, they are lost with the mountain of information that is inside of the RSD wing. I feel like some sort of mentorship program can be introduced to help Jr researcher's and even CL2 researchers, learn the correct and ethical way to test.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?
I believe what makes me suitable for executive is mostly my activity on the server. When I get off work at 8 AM and get on the server there is always no executive's that are on site to sign documents or approve credits. I believe this will strongly help the research department because until around 2pm is when most the executives flag on, and most of them have responsibility's they cannot tend to when they are the only ones on. Another suitable trait I have is I have been in the trusted program for the whole month of the trial duration, and so far, have led two successful projects within it of CL4 knowledge. I believe my experience with research so far has shown I can be a suitable candidate for this position.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
I believe so far, I only have 1 excellent document which was my 008-sampling document done roughly two weeks ago. I currently have 3 documents submitted which are awaiting gradings and have a large project which will be hand delivered to toast and hopefully receive another large grading. What makes an excellent document is something that follows the template but can be altered in small places such as adding additional pages for notes. Grammer and text placement must be good and the research gathered must be relevant to the actual testing that had occurred.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
Executive researchers have the starting leadership roles of the research department. They are the go tos for tests and samplings that require authorized documents. They also have the responsibility to oversee the researchers below them, making sure to respond when called to test chambers by ISD or by fellow researchers. When not overseeing the research department they are responsible for conducting the tests on CL4 SCPs and recording the test logs accordingly to avoid any possible info breaches. The final responsibility for executives is to find Cl3 researchers that are trusted enough to be briefed on CL4 SCPS (079,682, and 008)
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
James Kincaid has always been amused with the chemical output of our scps, specifically the SCPS that can create sub instances of itself. 049, 008, and 610 has always been dreams of Kincaid's and his research will continue to work towards the possibility of findings cures for these SCP and the deadly diseases. While a trusted researcher Kincaid has done 4 samplings for 008 in which two of them has been extremely promising, which shows on his research notes. He will continue to work his way to finding a cure for these as an executive, while taking on further responsibilities as an executive for the department. I also wish to take on the role of possibly recruiting Jr researchers aka training them as I have been trying to do as a trusted researcher. One big idea I have had for this project is a sub regiment that Jrs and regular researcher can join, and with joining this regiment they will be assigned a mentor, which would be a Sr+. The Sr would be in charge of leading the researcher with finding out the correct and ethical ways to test, as well as guiding them with how to correctly make documents, leading to more competent and well-trained Sr researchers when the time comes.
