For how long have you played on CG SCP: SInce 2022
Age: 17
In what country are you located?: Northern Ireland/UK
Time zone: BST
Character name(s):
Foundation: Joris Bohnson
UNGOC: Juris Bohnson
Civilian name:
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): USA
Do you have a mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
UNGOC-C LT
SCP 096
Executive Researcher
E11 CSG
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
I have received one Warning for RDM(B) back when I first began playing. I have since matured
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I am applying because I have gotten back into my groove of testing. And I believe that becoming an Executive Researcher again will be an ideal thing for me. I get enjoyment out of Roleplay and tests, and I believe I am good at guiding researchers through the, somewhat difficult, orientation needed to become a skilled Researcher.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
1. High Level of Research Skill. I believe it is fair to say I am good at what I do. I am able to come up with interesting tests and am also good at executing them.
2. Previous Experience. I have had experience as an Executive Researcher, and as a leader of Ptolmey within the GOC. So I have a large amount of experience in scientific Roleplay (Though I am making sure to keep a close eye on the current Exec team and am shadowing them when I can to make sure I know what I am going to be getting into)
3. General Experience. I have been with the SIte-65 Research Dept for a while now and I am good with its ins and outs, hell I even became experienced enough to understand SCIPNET.
EDITED TO ADD.
4. Knowledge of SCPs. Even though quite a few new ones have been added. My time in E11 gave me detailed knowledge of how certain SCPs operate. This is knowledge I have been able to add to research studies to provide extra details.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
Recently I have written 3 Excellent Grade Documents
1. A 914 test involving setting a SCP-500 Pill through on Coarse to see if it could be reverse engineered
2. A different 914 Test where i put a Scramble Headset through on FIne to document how it was upgraded
3. A Chemical Trial involving testing to see if Quintepiline would remove the effects of Cognitohazard Entities.
EDITED TO ADD
4. A Cross Test between 073 and 939 used to see if a 939 instance could be calmed into being passive around humans. Despite the ending not going as planned, I still made it work
I believe what makes a document Excellent is when the Researcher is able to clearly demonstrate that they know what they are doing, and not just slapping words together to create something. This can be evidenced by a clear and understandable structure of the document, with appropriate sentences and descriptions. While it is not required, I find that attaching actual scientific info to the experiment (within reason) can also be a nice touch
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
In Rp the Executive Researcher team handle the Cl1-Cl3 researchers, approving tests or helping to elevate them to the correct positions who can authorize them. As well as this they also handle disciplinary action such as verbal warnings, or if it comes to it. Job bans. Additionally they also have projects which they handle, which involve a large series of RP-based tests centered around a single Aim. Though most importantly, they act as a guiding hand to help get researchers invested in the Research Dept and help them enjoy it to its fullest. This can be done through mentoring, aiding with tests or general presentations for all to attend.
EDIT TO ADD
There are many ways that an Exec may aid other Researchers.
This may consist of broadly helping many Researchers at once through presentations. Such as giving a lecture on how to properly use SCIPNET. As well as that, they can choose to Mentor other researchers, they could do this by helping a researcher design and conduct an experiment on an SCP.
Another important factor that Executive researchers handle is relations with other departments. While the DoRs should be helping with or fully handling major relations issues. Execs can work to prevent it from ever reaching that point. For example, if GSD Command felt researchers were being too harsh with GENSEC, an Exec could be stationed in Dblock to observe and hand out any needed disciplinary action.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Joris Bohnson had previously worked as an Executive Researcher at Site-65 before he was assigned on a long term basis to Site [REDACTED] where during his stay, he received injuries to his person that left him in a Critical state. After several reconstructive surgeries he put forth a request to leave the site due to mental trauma. He was permitted to do so. While on recovery leave he adopted a Snake and has since named it "Jacob" he has Returned to Site-65 and is currently attempting to climb its ladder again to once again become an Executive Researcher
As for the stories or RP he could be involved in. I am willing to try a wide variety of stories and RP.
