Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
I really felt like becoming a Medical lead, it was just something I felt was necassary for me. Partly because of me being the lead of the E-11 squadron valkyries which leans towards assistance in the field. But I know Medical consultants will not see much action more or less they will be doing documentation which I also do not mind doing. Overall I just want to hone in on the stuff I enjoy within the departments of the foundation and this seems like a good posistion for me to do that in.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
I have knowledge on medical procedures for both EST (Kinda obvious due to me having a medical licence) and the mental evaluation procedure. Both of these are something a medical consultant should have great knowledge on. The other knowledge comes not from medical, but instead E-11. I have experience of being a cleareance level 4 (I know that consultant doesn't really need CL4 knowledge but it is still trust to have)
The important cards in my deck. I have the drive to do good, and I have made several documents for E-11 and have helped create what can be considered a new age for E-11, one that does not come completely off of the hard work that previous commander's and commissioned officers have previously put into the regiment, this is not thanks to just me but to the others in the regiment, which gives me my final trump card. I love to work with others but can perservere on my own as well making me work independently and dependently an option when I am apart of the medical higher ups. I look forward to assisting in anyway I can and hope that this can inspire the higher ups in the medical department to accept me.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
I could get away with doing Electro-Shock therapy but that is cheap, I will instead describe the process of a pyschological evaluation:
Pyschological Evaluation: this procedure is a multiple question information gathering process that pyschiatrists give to personnel of the foundation requesting the process. This process will gather questions as simple as "How much do you sleep" to "How do you feel about your co-workers" these questions are here to see if you suffer from cases of insomnia (in character) or are going through tough times such as clinical depression (in character) when gathering all of the questions and giving a final result this pyschological evaluation can and or will be given to personnel higher up requesting it. This is to also make sure personnel are fit to join one posistion and are not a risk to the department/regiment they are attempting to join or gain a higher standing in.
( I did simplify what a Pyschological evaluation is I do not understand if you wish to have the whole procedure layed out like it is on a clipboard or if I lack too much detail but I did describe the process of how it works and what its benefits and repercussions are.)
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
The responsibilities of the Medical Consultant are to execute the operations of normal medical procedures with having to put a hand directly into it. This meaning they are indirectly commanding their personnel to help around the foundation (either by documenting their jobs or something else in that manner) they will be indirectly executing jobs and procedures for medical personnel. When free they will train medical trainee's to become valid for a medical licence this allowing them to become doctors,combat medics,etc. The final responsibility of a medical consultant is to make sure no violations of the medical licence is happening, for example:
A Doctor uses a harpoon irresponsibly causing the internal affairs and or the medical consultant to detain the person who used the harpoon in an unorthodox fashion and to be sent to interrogation where they will be stripped of their medical licence for X amount of days until they can re-attend another medical lecture and training to regain the ability to have a medical licence.
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Joseph Sussman, had nothing special about him whatsoever, he was born around the historical area of Appomatox, Virginia. He would be raised by his parents and treated well as a child. Later in life he aspired to become a medical professional, this would later find him excelling in all subjects except for mathematics. The boy would always struggle with the concept of Algebra,Trigonemtry, and Statistics in his later life. Sussman would have the drive though to go through university after he graduated high school. He would first seek out the school he wanted to go for his medical profession. He would find the best fit school for this, that being the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He would pursue a degree in chemistry and would graduate 4 years later after completeing the courses, and gaining his bachelors degree in chemistry. This allowed Sussman to go into University of Virginia School of Medicine he would later get is PhD and would be recruited into the red cross to help save persons from large disasters that impacted human life.
Joeseph Sussman would later join the UN Peacekeeping forces and his first mission would be in the war torn Sarajevo in 1994. He would learn a lot of how the Serbska militia and the Yugoslav army would operate in the time being, he learned alot from the Bosnia military too as he was lacking the skillset when first arriving in the region, he was supported by a handful of his friends within the UN Peacekeepers this time in Bosnia also allowed him to pick up Dutch as a language and a little bit of Bosnian and Croatian in the meantime. When his time in Bosnia ended he would later join the Red Cross and be sent all over the world to assist in aid distrubution missions. Primarily in Africa and the Balkans.
Joseph Sussman after being apart of the Red Cross would be sent to ███████████████████ *DATA EXPUNGED* Ukraine where he would encounter the anomalous entity known as SCP-2574 he was dealing with reports of building damages, he thought it to be Russian strikes from the Russo-Ukrainian war of 2014, but was soon mistaken as he was taken ahold by a presence that he was unaware of in the area. He was seeing visions of what he believed to be was his ancestors. He saw the beachs of Normandy, he was taken by this presence and proceeded to walk down the destroyed street where he encountered a sandstone lion esque creature being attacked by a flock of birds. He would later walk to the side of a destroyed apartment complex and pass out in the town of ███████████████████ *DATA EXPUNGED* he would later wake up in the custody of the foundation (as the UNGOC was not available in the Ukraine region at the time) and would not be amnesticated (As previous protocol stated) but instead saw great talent within the man that witnessed an anomaly, and proceeded to ask him details about what he saw and encountered. He proceeded to describe SCP-2574 and SCP-2574-1. This was no shock to any foundation operatives, the man was stunned at what he saw and was intrigued even. But then he was given an offer by █████ ████████ Sussman contemplated the offer and swiftly accepted it right after being offered. He was given a trial period within the foundation and was trained in all methods they used within the foundation. He was then moved to Site-██████ after his trial period ended and was made a Combat medic due to his time in Bosnia & Herzegonia.
Sussman in his time at Site-██████ would gain a lot of knowledge on anomalous characters, he would even see something within the global site files that interested him which was the request of medical personnel at Site-██████ he would accept being an operative in Site-██████ and would attempt to assist the handful of departments that he worked with, even saving a handful of people's lives. His life would change however as the site he asked to join would have a mass breach, this breach included SCP-██████, SCP-██████, SCP-173, SCP-██████, and ████████████ and ████████████ these anomalies would harm the state of the foundation not to mention the incident of SCP-██████ reaching floor-3 and injuring multiple personnel of ████████████ he would attend to the injures but was swiftly asked to leave before attending to all personnel on floor-3. He would take care of others before taking a stand against anomalies seeing all live (Including Class-D that were unlawfully terminated) as sacred, as persons who try to protect the world from monsters who want to destroy it are sacred, and Class-D in some fashion can fit in that puzzle.
After the time Sussman put into the foundation as a medical personnel, he would put some time into internal affairs (However he would always tend to keep a field kit on hand in the case of an emergency) he only did this to gain some experience within the law field of the foundation as he knew it was crucial to know the legal codex within the foundation to assist internal affairs with their arrests, this allowed sussman to have a large bank of knowledge on site rules and regulations (as a medic he was also seen to assist in tests that posed a danger to class-d personnel) this would allow him to seek higher posistions within the medical department where he has currently put in a form to become a medical consultant of the medical department.
